The Cottages Senior Living

I lasted about a week and took my husband home where I have been caring for him ever since. His room there was dingy and the atmosphere depressing.

I would recommend; but I can see that this facility does not meet the needs of every individual.If it would be a good fit for your loved one; then yes; I have found this facility to meet my loved ones particular needs more than adequately.

It was within walking distance from my house.The food was terrible, the activities non existent and the cost was too high for the product.

My loved one is currently a resident at The Cottages Senior Living and everything has been great. I would and have recommended this facility to others.

It is as good a place as you could find/ friendly staff and a well run machine (even tho staffing is an issue.) They're always concerned with my issues (although I believe I am the exception to the rule) I am there every day; and I have let them know I am watching over their shoulders. I would recommend to others.

The Cottage Senior Living is working out very nicely. So far no complaints. Would I recommend that place to someone, yes. Your assistance was much appreciated and very helpful. My loved one doesn't care much for the food and believes the community needs a new cook. I haven't seen many activities, and this maybe because my loved one doesn't partake in them.

The facility is extremely dated. And they are understaffed and not very understanding.

What we really like about The Cottages is the suitability for our loved ones needs - we really like the smaller independent living cottages that come with their own staff, dining hall and living room. We have not had the meals there ourselves but from the looks of the menu the food looks to be great. Based on our experience with The Cottages we would recommend this community to other families.

My sister and I are super happy with The Cottages. My moms family came out to visit from out of town and they all felt the same way about the facility. They take great care of her and she is doing well. I like the fact that it is strictly memory care and the cottages are set up based on cognitive ability which is incredible. The staff are super communicative, they send out weekly updates and have been proactive during the pandemic. They have an LPN on staff as well. They were such a big help with moving my mom out of state. I would 100% recommend them to others looking.

We chose this facility because they provided furniture for us, you have the option to bring your own or they are able to furnish the rooms for you. The staff have been very attentive and our loved ones physical health has improved a lot since being here. I really appreciate the exceptional communication from all of the staff, if there are any updates or concerns we always get a call right away. They also send out weekly newsletters with updates. They have been very willing to work with us and accommodating to our needs. I would highly recommend to others who are looking.

I think your loved one would be safe, well taken care of, and the wonderful communication. I toured the kitchen and it was very clean. We were always welcome at the facility no matter the time. I would recommend this facility to others

Whenever I come to visit Pacifica Senior Living it is always a pleasure. All of the staff is so sweet and willing to lend a helping hand wherever it's needed. Even with everything going on in the world right now, I always see staff with a smile on their face ready to be on the front lines!

I know I have shared this with your team but wish to share again... you are all amazing! To do what you do on a daily basis and truly care about what you do is so remarkable. The staff at Pacifica Senior Living Portland always go above and beyond. They treat the residents with the utmost respect, and never fail to amaze me with how caring and understanding they are to each residents specific needs. A truly great team!
