Over all my Dad is safe and he is taking his medication more regularly then before. He does well with routine. And he has one lady friend. The manage change this year has really been difficult. They notified all the residents personally an increase of rent. This causes a lot of difficulty for us as Dad get paranoid about money and my brother is acting as his power of attorney.

I’ve always had a pleasant experience when visiting a family friend at The Addison of Fayetteville. The staff is always so welcoming and I love the relationship they have with the residents. The wonderful staff helped the transition to assisted-living easier for our loved one.

November 3, 2023We’re so glad you enjoyed your visit here. We’ll always do our best to maintain your trust and confidence in caring for your loved one.
I really feel like we got a bait-and-switch with the Addison off Fayetteville and am glad we were able to get out. My Dad had an altercation with another resident in which proper supervision was part of the problem. There is definitely room for improvement.

We toured with The Addison of Fayetteville and it was not as well kept as either [facility name removed] or [facility name removed]. At Addison.. the Director [name removed]... I did not care for her at all! She kept trying to tell me what I needed to do...very patronizing!! We did not choose Addison because I did not care for the Director!

Our family had an in-person tour and it was nice but for what we were looking for we just did not like it for our loved one.

February 14, 2023Thank you for taking the time to visit us and leave us this review.
The community was nice, clean, and friendly. However, it seemed more like a nursing home because the residents only were in a bedroom style accommodation. We felt to move my dad from his house to one room from at this stage would have presented problems for his adjustment. Harmony is like a little apartment. Addison is perfectly located and I love the way it looks both exterior and interior, but it just wasn't for my dad.

Response from The Addison of Fayetteville
August 29, 2022Our residents love when family and friends come to visit. So do we! Thanks for dropping by and leaving us this great review.
This is a nice community that is clean. It is a distance away from town. I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. The communication with staff has all been made by the family. It would be nice to have the staff be a more proactive approach on communication with the family. All vitamins, creams, and medication must be made by a doctor on a piece of paper or a prescription pad paper. My loved one is feeling a little bit of a loss of their independence. I wish the staff were more friendly and addressed the family and residents in the hallways.

May 24, 2022Our team is focused on providing a great quality of life for your loved one. Always feel free to visit and share your experiences with us.
We went with The Addison because it seemed like more of a quality place. The grounds were well kept and it is also on one floor and there are different wings so it is not crowded at all and you just get a warm comfortable feeling. The feel of the whole facility itself is just much better than other facilities we saw, it is not intuitional at all. Anyone who has come to visit my father has felt the same way and praised what they saw. I have had no negative feedback.

The Addison is a good place for your loved one. Overall they try to keep me updated on my loved one. The community is friendly. The staff will try to interact with the residents and to try to engage them in activities. The staff are good at trying to get my loved one up each day. There is a hair salon on site for the residents to use.

I would not recommend them. They were short staffed when we went to tour. I barely saw any staff or residents. They would not show me the memory care unit where my loved one would be staying. It is a very large facility.
staff are very friendly and caring to my loved one. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone who is looking for assisted living in the Fayetteville area

My cousin was treated terribly by the staff starting with the administrator. Before she had been there 24 hours they sent her to the emergency room to get a sedative. The staff caused unnecessary anxiety for her and as a result she went to emergency room for several hours. We moved her to another facility after 2 weeks and she is doing wonderfully better. Don't trust Carillon.

Please price other assisted living/memory care facilities. There are other facilities which offer much more medical care on site and costs much less. My loved one is checked on every 15 minutes day and night, showered more times a week and clothes are washed frequently and hung up nicely and not crammed in the top of her closet. There's to many positives with the facility my loved one is in to include in this review . Please don't make my mistake of assuming that there are not any less expensive facilities that offer top notch medical care because there are.

It was expensive and it was very nice but it was very formal, it was beautiful, absolutely beautiful, but it's a cold beautiful and maybe that appeals to some people but it doesn't appeal to me. Quite honestly, I didn't like the way we were treated, the lady took a walk in right in front of us when we had an appointment and she argued with the director about who was going to see us and quite frankly, I don't think our intial perception of it was wrong because there was something about it all that just wasn't comfortable.

We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
