Terrabella Windsor Lake

I would recommend. They are caring and mindful of the residents needs and security. We picked them because of the size, location, reviews and affordability.

The only thing I will add is that it is a senior or slight assisted living facility. [name removed]was sick mentally and physically and though they took her it rapidly exceeded their capabilities - love them though

My brother is the happiest he’s ever been. A caring and wonderful situation. 5 stars! [name removed] his Ambassador is outstanding as well as [name removed]. Every staff member has been amazing! The activities and the special care that he gets is outstanding. I went through a lot of assisted-living homes to find one that is this good.

The food leaves a lot to be desired. I can cook and that is the only thing that they don't have at Haven of Congaree. You have to be able to prepare your own meals.

The staff has gone above and beyond with my brother [name removed]. They are not quick to move patients to assisted living and will keep them in the independent living as long as they can. This is much less expensive and the residents are really like a second family. I could not ask for a better setting for [name removed]. Thanks for your help in placing him there!

Terra Bella was the perfect place for my husband. Being in an independent living facility has forced him to do more for himself, thus he's regaining a lot of independence. The staff has been great and very attentive as well as supportive.

Every thing about this place is Great, the staff and management is great! The in house caregivers do a great job, the food is good, every now and then they will have something that she doesn't like but they offer an alternative menu for when that happens. It's hard to make food that everyone likes. The place is clean and well maintained. No unpleasant odor. They offer a lot of activities, but mom doesn't seem interested in any of that yet. Having a hard time just getting her to leave her apartment, bought her an electric scooter but she's not a very good driver! The price is very good for all they offer. So overall very well pleased with the facility.

Very pleased with Terrabella. My loved one is very happy there.I would highly recommend. The staff is very kind and patient. We picked because of the cost and it was clearly better than the others.

I would rate all a 5 with the exception of activities. Reason being that I believe many of the residents who are capable of getting out would like to do so more often. Be it trips to the zoo, museum, animal farms, local restaurants, golf courses, movies, etc. The meals are absolutely delicious and residents get generous servings. The staff is extremely helpful, very respectful, and most accommodating. Those that I've interacted with treat my loved one like they would want their loved ones treated. Any concerns that are raised with the executive director are quickly and effectively addressed. We love that Terra Bella provides transportation to and from doctors appointments for their residents. This is especially helpful for those whose family members work full time jobs and can't get away as often as is needed. Truly a lovely community at a reasonable cost.

This has been a good experience for my loved one and family. The community is good at trying to keep the residents in independent living as long as possible, and this assists in my loved one feeling more at home. My loved one fits in very well with the other residents. They enjoy being here and my loved one is very happy here. This is a big plus for the family! The staff communication with the family has been good when we have questions about our loved one. [name removed] and [name removed] are the main staff members we are able to speak with. The family is able to check our loved one in and out of the community to enjoy meals and outings with the family. The meals could use some improvement for the residents with dietary restrictions as it would be nice to see more offerings.

For what they offer, I think the value for the money is great. The food is excellent, the apartments are very nice, and the staff are friendly. I would move in here just for the food, they offer 3 meals a day and they are very good. The menu is great and then they have another menu that you can order off of anytime. I was very impressed and would recommend Terrabella Windsor Lake to others looking.

Terrabella Windsor Lake is good. I'm not there very much, but my loved one doesn't care for the food; she doesn't care for anything. I take it that they probably don't use as much spice in the food because of their clientele, so the food might be a little bland. I also wish they had an ice machine. Beyond that, their recreation person / Activities Director is very good, and it's a very good place. Highly recommended!

The biggest reason we went with Terrabella Windsor Lake was because they were the ones who told us about patriot angels and they worked with us on payment plans until we got approved. My dad was having a hard time with re-locating and this place was close to his actual home so he did not have to change too much of his routine and he was comfort bale with the are. This was not something told to us in the beginning, but they just changed management and the food lady who used to be there is no longer there. They are struggling with the new servers coming to work - they are really trying to improve it and it is getting a bit better but they are still having issues. I definitely would recommend Terrabella to others looking.

My loved one does not really like the food. They hired a new chef, so hopefully the food improves. My loved one ikes the people, and does not take advantage of too many activities. There is a new director, so they are working on some issues. I like the home health care aides, they seem to be really good with the residents.

When I first met with [name removed], he quoted one amount that was much lower than the amount we ended up paying when we signed the contract. This was confusing. I felt the rent fee seemed to change with each potential resident. Re: Friendliness of staff- The lunchroom staff and activity personnel/ driver were friendly. Re: Cleanliness - The carpet in some hallways really need cleaning or replacing. Re: Food - There's a good selection and food is tasty.

The van service takes you Tuesdays and Thursdays to doctors appointments and you have to have your doctor fax the appointment time and date to the front desk. I think it would be helpful if they could provide transportation to other places without an appointment, but that is my only complaint. They do take you to Walmart every other Wednesday and also provide some trips to the bank and pharmacy. Everyone has been so friendly and helpful. The staff here are absolutely amazing and always greet me when they pass by. I would certainly recommend Terrabella Windsor Lake to others looking.

It's great! The people who run the place are very polite and helpful with any problems you might have. They go overboard in making sure that you're comfortable here. I like my apartment. It's convenient and designed nicely. The first thing you see when you walk in is the kitchen, then the living room. Then off the living room is the bedroom and bathroom. Barb, the front desk person is a great lady. She calls in the morning to make sure you're okay and asks if you need anything. [name removed], the recreation director, takes you to the bank, the hospital, wherever you need to go. The people here are really great!

The community is impeccably clean, but the meal service could be a little bit better. It comes down to the quality and also offering meals later into the evening. The value for cost is a little lower just due to the meal service. Staff are wonderful.

Everyone here is great and go above and beyond to help. Everything i need is here, they take you shopping and if you need any help they are right on top of it. The community is extremely clean, the meals are a little bland but overall pretty good. The activities are back open and i just love it here so much.
