All the staff are very helpful, courteous and called me by name from the very first day! Lots of things to do and food is very good. Residents are all very kind and seem to be happy. I made the right choice .

The experience with The Harmony as been good. People have to remember that you all have to have open communication and get everything in writing. If you are not happy with something let them know. We know our mom is safe at The Harmony we know she is being taken care of. learning the levels of care need to be spelled out better and what is included upfront. Not a bad thing it is a learning curve. How procedures are done and how things run these are questions to know and understand upfront. The Harmony is a family owned group and you can tell they do care about what happens and they do retain there employees which is great for the residence so my over option is good.

The experience was terrible. I would not recommend them to anyone else. My godmother was locked in her room several times when I went to visit. On four occasions, she had fallen in the floor and could not get up. Her hospice nurse was also a witness to this. One of those times she had been trying to go to the bathroom so she had soiled herself and the nurse techs had to clean her and they were not gentle. She contracted Covid and when I called to ask how she was doing (since I wasn't allowed to visit) I was put to voicemail three times. I witnessed a nurse tech throw her shoe across the room in a fit of anger at a resident. Upon further investigation, I find that they have been sued five times in Richland County since [date removed] for wrongful death and medical malpractice.

Staff is friendly but sometimes take a long time to respond to resident call buttons or billing inquiries. The turnover at the Director level is terrible, and appears to trickle down into staffing issue. Dad has fallen several times and family was not notified. They are unable to accommodate residents with visual disabilities.

The overall experience is very positive. My only concern is that I wish there was a safe and secured outdoor space that residents can use to go walking, do gardening, get fresh air or doing activities instead of just rocking in a chair in the front of the facility watching cars go by.

The facility and staff are great. Living here is the best in NE Columbia, I am told. But in one year, things have changed in Independent Living: no transportation for errands, meals will include one meal instead of two, and rent increased by [amount removed] per month.

The staff is very kind and helpful. The Memory Care area could definitely use more support. Mom shares a room and it's quite spacious. Away activities are offered for those residents who are able to participate.

They do not perform any of the promised, written, agreements. The food is disgusting, the light housekeeping as a joke vacuuming with a broom, not one time have they checked on my mother, that was the reason I chose this location, for peace of mind while I was traveling for work. They don't call like they said they would, we tripped the emergency cord and no one showed up, she went without water in her bathroom for 3 days, the community van does not move. I've never seen anyone getting in or out of the van other than employees with their lunch. The first bill was a cluster, no one knows what they are doing, especially the leasing staff, the move in specialist, all horrible at their jobs. I gave notice 10 days after move in that my mom would not be staying. I'm anxious to see if I have to hire an attorney for the community fee to be returned.

Staff get to know the residents. Housekeeping could come more often. Communication is great. The move and paperwork was very long. The food needs to be more on the serving and a better assortment of food. Overall, I would recommend the facility to others.

It's a nice place. I wish they had more outdoor space for the residents. It would be nice if they had picnic tables, outdoor garden, and a place to have outdoor activities. They pretty much just sit in the front in rocking chairs. We picked this community because it was closer to my home and less expensive.
