TerraBella Riverplace

Very clean facility with good accommodations and pricey. I have not had any recent experience with TerraBella. It was still RiverPlace then and do many fees had been added since my previous visit that the cost was prohibitive.

We have noticed that our loved one is eating out A LOT. When we asked him why, he stated the food was awful and was being served the same thing over and over. For activities, our loved does enjoy the gospel singers that come in to sing.

What I like the most about the TerraBella Riverplace community is the friendliness of the staff as well as the overall cleanliness of the community. TerraBella has beautiful surroundings and accommodations. There are a lot of activities to take part in. It foes feel like home.

The only reason I left was because I needed to be able to cook. The meals were such that if I had a doctors appointment, I would miss a meal. Breakfast was served, too early. My only other complaint was the parking. Unless you paid to have your own parking place, it was very hard to find a place to park. My husband is handicap and this was a real struggle. Also at Terra Bella the van would not accommodate my husband's wheelchair. They said that they would when we first moved in. After we moved in , they told us they could not take wheelchairs. This was a big disappointment.

The hallway smells like urine, otherwise clean. They put up air fresheners, so it smells like perfumed urine. There is no nighttime security. We were told it was in progress when my loved one moved in. My loved one states that the food is going downhill. They are also taking about 45 minutes or so after sitting down to get food. Activities are nice, but the bus is broken. They had a rental van, but had to turn it in. They advertise that they will provide rides, and now use private vehicles for transport. My loved one likes the games. Part of the reason Mom chose TerraBella was the provided meals. She skips many because the quality has lessened. They have also called me about an issue instead of talking to my Mom. My Mom is 82, but is very spry and active. They need to talk to her, not me.

Talk to the residents and ask their opinion. The facility is very accommodating to the residents AND their family. The family members are given keys to enter the facility after hours. This facility is very safe and secure. We moved my 89 year old dad into TerraBella Riverplace. Because he lived by himself, we were always worried about him. He is still very independent and still drives. The family stated that it would be great if we could get someone to come in and cook for him, light housekeeping (like change the bed sheets weekly). We found all of this plus so much more at TerraBella Riverplace. In fact, my dad's words were "this is a good place. I've never seen anything like it before." This facility is very reasonably priced. In your retirement years, no one can afford to spend all of their money on a place to live. This allows a great, safe place to live with all utilities paid and 3 meals a day included. It doesn't get much better than that. Knowing that dad is happy makes us happy and less worried about his well being.

I am very glad to be here. I would recommend to others. I picked this community because of the feel of the place.

My father was a resident at TerraBella Riverplace and our experience at this facility was great. The facility and staff were great. The staff was very friendly. Housekeeping did a great job. The facility was very clean and had no smells. The meals were very good. The cost is low in comparison to other places. I would strongly recommend TerraBella Riverplace to family and friends!

I am very happy here at Riverplace and the other residents are delightful to be around and they all seem to be happy too. I think it is a good place to be when you get older. I have a 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom apartment and it is a great size. I would highly recommend the facility to others who are looking.
