Tamarac Rehabilitation & Health Care Center

Instead of being bothered with helping people rehabilitate to a normal life they put them all in adult diapers which they refuse to change except for twice a day. They do this so they do not have to help anyone. They are supposed to do laundry and they take it once a week, but it takes 5 days to get back clean cloths, with wet diapers leaking this is awful! I will never allow another family member to go back here.

My dad had a stroke and was admitted, the CNA in this place terrible, nurses bad, this place should be investigate and close, no kindness, for patient , I have to ask many time for help for my dad, after the stroke he needs help to walk, use restroom , nurses and staff are very rude, no love for patient for patients needs

My Mother [name removed] has been a resident of this Facility since 2018. Shortly after I went to visit and upon arrival to the Facility, I immediately realize how the facility was clean and smell fresh. The staff was friendly and courteous. My Mother was a bit nervous at first but quickly adapt to her environment. It has been two years since my Mother has been a resident. The service is still superb!! Everyone including the kitchen staff, administrate personnel's, the CNA's, the Activities department and maintenance crew has given my Mother the love and attention she deserve. I couldn't have chosen a better Facility for my Mother as she is happy and is being cared for tremendously. Thank you Tamarac Rehabilitation Center! This is definitely home , away from home! Keep up the great work.

The staff is very friendly and kind while you are there but when you are not they treat the patient without respect, speaking to them like children. In addition many of them speak in their foreign language amongst the patient. It is a bit disrespectful as well. We know they can speak complete english and they should continue to do so even when they are speaking to each other. They should continue the professional attitude and treatment when the patients families are not around. Please remember the people they are just that people as they are. How would they like to be treated?

Any time you call or have questions, they help you. That's a good thing.

The staff, room and their rehab were excellent.

The stay at Tamarac Rehab was good. We used the facility for their rehab therapy services and we were pleased.

They have done a pretty good job. The therapy is why we are at Tamarac Rehab. They are doing their best with my loved one. They are taking their time with her. The therapy they are doing is appropriate for her. I would say the nursing care has gone well for her.

They are short-staffed but a lot of them are very nice. It is clean.

I just picked up my mom, and she continued to tell me that how nice and attentive the nurses ere to her. She had many problems, and nurse-[name removed] did a particularly nice job in paying extra attention to my mom. I recommend this rehab center based on my mom's satisfaction for her week long stay, straight from the hospital.

If you have someone in your life that has limited mobility, and you would like them to suffer beyond what this world should allow, Tamarac Rehab is the place for them! Between allowing fall risk patients to be left alone to fend for themselves, to burning bed pan patients in their genitals and on their back with too hot of water, they do it all! And as an added bonus, the social workers are extra unhelpful to make the nightmare even more of a reality.

My husband, [name removed], was a patient after a bad fall & suffering 2 fractures. His treatment was excellent. The whole staff was very caring & friendly even under bad situations. [Names removed] were so very helpful to me as the Caretaker & to [name removed] treatments to get him back home. I would highly recommend Tamarac Rehab.

I think they have hospitality. They make me feel like they should as a family and make me comfortable. They don't make me feel alienated.

It was very good. They gave my father a room by the nurse's station. They really showed priority for his medical needs. The entire staff was wonderful. It's like being in a Disney park! Everybody smiles.

The overall experience with Tamarac Rehab was fine. I would recommend them to a friend. The people are great, and the nurses were conscientious and on top of it. The paperwork just seemed to be messed up.

For the most part, the stay with Tamarac Rehab went well for my mother. All in all the staff was very friendly throughout the experience. I would say the night time nursing assistants could have been a little better when my mom needed help. Maybe some of the staff members need some retraining.

The staff is very friendly, professional and caring. They have people come and sing, and they get my loved one's hair done. It is very clean here. I always find it clean and there are no smells.

I greatly appreciate the staff on how well they are taking care of my mom. She has only told me positive things. When I do visit they are very good greeters, and I feel good about my mother being in their care.
