Summerfield Senior Living of Slidell

Absolutely stunning and well maintained property, Staff and manager are more like family. Residents are happy and friendly and the food is deserving of it's own review. Dining goes above and beyond making sure residents have input on menus and flavor. Truly a value for what you get. The decorations on the inside and outside during holiday seasons are beautiful! Stop by take a tour, I promise you, it will be your next warm, loving friendly new house away from your old house. Meet new friends and family.

Recently toured with [name removed], what a beautiful place! Everyone there was so nice and courteous,passed on lunch but it sure smelled good. It seemed everyone was comfortable there, and certainly well cared for as all the people we met in the hallways were smiling and knew [name removed] well, nothing but good things from the residents. Made our decision very easy!

The Summerfield Senior Living community in general has a very warm feeling to it. We really like the courtyard and being able to walk around the pond. Every time we come to visit we always see the staff interacting and engaging with the residents and always check in on them. We really like the director of marketing [name removed] she has been very thorough with all her explanations on everything. Sometimes our loved one says the food is not the most tastiest and the portions are small but no real serious complaints regarding the meals. She loves the activities, they are great. She loves playing bingo and is getting great physical and occupational therapy. For everything that is offered the value is very reasonable.

I have already recommended it to most people we know. One of my family members was living there already. We already had input on this facility. Everything was really great. My loved one enjoyed the food, they provided a varied amount of options during meal times. It wasn't bland, ever. I seen a lot of activities like live music and movie night. They had shopping trips, games like bingo. They had lots of things going on. My loved one liked to have his meals delivered to his room. The last few days of my Dad's life, we stayed with my father to be there until he passed. They provided meals to us while we were there. We really appreciated them. I have seen and done work in a lot of these types of places and this is very highly recommended. Id stay here.

Toured this community. A beautiful community. The staff were very friendly. Residents were also friendly and seemed very happy. My mind is made up!

Summerfield is a lovely community with a caring staff. The residents are always involved in some type of fun activity. The residents seem happy and always smiling. The staff really care about the residents. I would recommend Summerfield Retirement Community of Slidell!

We toured all assisted living facilities in Slidell and a few in Covington. Summerfield of Slidell is the best overall in my opinion. We met the Management who was working the weekend. She gave us a tour. Residents were enjoying their exercise program. The building is clean and smells good. They even allow small pets. The residents were eating lunch in the Dining Room and they had a wait staff. The menu had a good variety. Was very impressed with how spacious the rooms are. We will be getting on their waiting list very soon.

Beautiful clean facility. Ate a delicious lunch there. Having friendly waitresses definitely a plus. The residents talking about how they enjoy living there. Management very involved with residents. Our decision is made. A great feeling knowing your loved one will be well cared for.

This facility really drew my Mother and me in. The staff is very friendly here and responds to me in a very timely manner. It’s a very clean building and there is no odor like you would expect at a nursing home. My mom’s room is really nice and it has a good layout. For activities, they offer things like bingo, happy hour, live entertainment, casino trips, and different outings. I would recommend this facility to other families.

Very nice, good possibility we will be deciding on this one. Would like the studio room if possible. will need to wait for one to open if possible.
