I am writing this review for my Cousin who has been at Studio Royale about 4 1/2 years now. My Cousin had been in intensive care at Cedars for about two weeks and when she was ready to be discharged, she was no longer able to live alone and needed to go to assisted living. My Wife and I went to A Place For Mom and they provide us with about 6 Assisted living facilities to check out. By some act of God we chose Studio as are first place to review. When we walked into the lobby and had our tour, we knew immediately that we did not need to look anymore. My Cousin has had the most incredible and wonderful 4 1/2 years of her entire life. The kindness, care, entertainment, and fabulous food has been amazing. She would call us every week to go over the menus. I could not consider this place, it smells and the residents leave their doors open to the hallways. I can't give them a star except for the size of rooms are nice.

Really liked the Sony studio film decour and it was clean and spacious. Very close to the senior center for more activities. Rooms larger and nice.

Clean, well staffed, fresh food, caring assistance, conscientious administration. Some residents are here for over 10 years. Close to senior center and transportation and shopping.

There's good things and there's bad things. The room that I got - I didn't know it at the time because I saw it in the morning - but the sun is so bright I can't stand it. It's blinding me and heating me up. That is my only complaint. Other than that everything is okay. The food is okay. We chose this place because my son liked it.

I liked it but it was just more than my dad wanted to spend. It was really just a financial decision that led us to choose another community.

It's good. My mom flew the coupe with the other place because it was just a bed and board place and it wasn't secure enough for her. It was too easy for her to get out. Studio Royale it's more of an institutional situation with 50 people living there and they go more by rules and regulations. I think they're doing the best they can. They're really cheerful and very efficient.

I really like Sudio Royale. My mom seems to be really happy there. She just went from a semi private to a private room. She's keeping really active - exercising 45 minutes a day, paying cards and bingo. They sometimes have people come in an play music and sing. I looked into quite a few places and I think she feels comfortable in a place like this. There are a lot more luxurious places but that's not my mom. These are just really nice, friendly people. It feels like quite a bit that she is paying but nothing is cheap today. It's affordable compared to other places. She loves the food. The portions are really large and they serve meat with practically every meal which she has to cut down on. She asked for more salads and now they're giving her salads so that's good.

This was the one with the best location. However the one bedroom was very small for the price. I felt I wouldn't feel comfortable living here.

Beautiful, grounds, filled with light. Wonderful rooms. Next to state of art Senior Center, park, library. Director former student, will work with me as much as possible on price if get two units. Only issue is if need add on services like dressing bathing must privately contract with health worker, not provided by staff. Although can combine with other residents to control cost. A PLACE TO CONSIDER.
