Facility did not provide good care for my mother. Shared bathroom was ALWAYS filthy and smelled of feces. When complaints made was informed "the resident in the other room always makes a mess" but it was not clean/acceptable even one time during visits. Meals may not be served to bedridden residents unless someone from the family is there to make sure meal is provided. Staff is dishonest about care given/provided. Do not use this facility.

The staff at Southwood Care Center was very friendly and attentive to my questions and needs for my father. I was pleased with the atmosphere surrounding the residents and the facility's cleanliness. My brother and I were most impressed with the open-door policy of the staff head to bring any concerns or questions to her about our father's care. I believe this is a good choice for my father and our family.
