Somerset Woods Rehab and Nursing Center

The building is clean and pretty. The staff leave a lot to be desired. Can’t get intouch with anyone. The social worker is rude doesn’t return calls. My family memer cried complained he cursed at her and slammed his hands on her table frightening her told her shut up and slam door. I tried to talk to him about it and he hanged up on me. It’s no right. My family will not be back. Go somewhere else. New and beautiful means nothing when the staff are rude and abuse.

They have state of the art facility for therapy. The nurses are good. My loved one raved about the cleanliness! He said the entire thing was incredible, but he complained about the food.

Most of the staff has been really friendly. My loved one had an incident so therapy has not been able to be as intense as I would have liked but the nurses are excellent. She was doing therapy every day but now it cannot be as intense because of the fracture.

It is a good place for him. I like the service, he has been to other rehabs before and the care here is better.

It is very clean and the people are very nice and do not have an attitude. They answer all your questions. My loved one likes it but he does not like the food.

We like most of it there. I like the place. They said they did not get information from the hospital.

I really like them. The nursing care from the morning is fine. He has had a harder time getting the night shift to help. I am not sure if they are ignoring him or what. To be honest it has been a week and my husband hasn't had much therapy. The thing is he did not get therapy over the weekend and our insurance is for therapy seven days a week.

Overall, our experience was great! My loved one has had trouble with her medications and getting the right meds at the right time. The staff is very nice to my sister. Some people have been sarcastic with her. That was straightened out. They put weights on her legs when they are not supposed to do that.

The therapy was really good. I think it helped.

I think it's a good place for my father-in-law. It's convenient for me, close to where I live. It's my first experience with a place like this and so far, I cannot see anything I don't like.

The therapy was good. In my opinion, they could clean better. The room could be cleaned more, and garbage could be picked up more.

The physical therapy was good. My mom told me she didn't feel comfortable there. She had trouble with the aides. When she would call somebody for help she would wait for 15 minutes.

The physical therapy people seem good. I like the social worker. The nursing staff is mostly good. We had an issue where he needed to help, and it took a while because they were serving food. They didn't look at his chart for food, and they offered food he couldn't eat.

So far everything is going well. They're doing everything they can to make sure my uncle is comfortable. There was an issue with his clothing being lost shortly after he got there. The staff did everything they could to try and find the clothes and helped us replace them.

The rehab therapy that my loved one received was pretty good. The menu was a big disappointment. My most critical concern throughout my loved one's stay at Somerset Woods Rehab was that they were not monitoring her condition properly. Her meal plan did not correspond with her meal plan. Even after several attempts to change this, no one seemed to care about it.

The food sucks. I think they think the people that stay there don't know the difference. My mom would have starved if I didn't bring here food. Understaffed. After normal visiting hours there were times the call button placed and know one showed up for half hour. I would see the nurses and aids outside having a cigarette and know one inside to help any patients

My loved ones stay this time was good. Their rehab therapy was really helpful for her. I think there is a lack of help, especially with the nursing assistants. I noticed this especially throughout the day and the evening. It seems like there were a lot of people that had to wait to get help. Their nurses need more help. I only saw one person on the floor for the cleaning. They need more people cleaning.

Their rehab therapists are very good. The ones they have are very nice but not enough of them. They are very short-handed. There is nobody to take care of these people. The aides we have had problems with. Leaving patients for a long time when they need help. The housekeeping does not come to clean up under the beds or nothing.

They are doing fantastic. Most of the staff is very friendly. I have recommended it. The nursing department has a very clear communication and they call me back right away if they need to find out the answer.

They were very helpful. I was there before myself. The nurses were good. The social worker went out of his way to help. They had good communication. Most of the staff was very friendly. My husband should have had more walking when he was there.
