Regency Jewish Heritage Post-Acute Rehabilitation and Nursing Center

This facility has fantastic patient care, and that is due to the diligent and attentive hard work of the staff. Highly recommend for anyone who is looking for an all-rounder facility that not only offer excellent care but professional services as well.

I am so, so grateful to everyone here for the new lease on life they gave my mom! Their compassion went beyond my expectations, and the food definitely exceeded my expectations lol! Kudos to all the wonderful staff here!

I had my dear mother at Regency Jewish Heritage Post-Acute Rehabilitation and Nursing Center for short term rehabilitation. I have to say I was extremely happy with the care provided and the physical therapy team, I would highly recommend this facility for a family member that is looking for the right place to feel at home.

Regency Heritage is a top-notch nursing center. The personnel, from admissions and the Director of Nursing, the social worker and the wonderful nurses and aides in the sub-acute unit had all gone out of their way to make my mother-in-law's stay as stress free as possible. Everyone delivered top care and attentiveness. The Physical Therapy staff worked wonders with her to bring her back to a point where she is somewhat independent. She is much stronger now and walking quire well with the help of a walker. I would not hesitate to recommend Regency Nursing to family and friends who are in need of quality care for a loved one.

Regency Heritage is excellent. It really couldn’t be better. I would recommend them to anyone, this place is fabulous!

While the experience I had with the employees was always positive, there are four individuals who went above and beyond. Two were part of my mom's nursing staff. They were both so kind and compassionate during that difficult time. The third person is an Aide, who was very dedicated and kind and was my mother's favorite Aide. She could not say enough positive things about him, he truly went the extra mile for his patient. The last person, is a Physical Therapist. He was my mother's favorite as well. He too, devotes himself to the patient with understanding and encouragement. We send our heartfelt thank you to these Regency Heritage heroes.

Two of them are apart of the nursing staff, and the other two were so kind and compassionate to both my mother and our family. [name removed] was my mother's favorite aid, and she could not say enough positive things about him. Wayne, the physical therapist was my mom's favorite as well. You can see that he devotes himself to his patients with understanding and encouragement. They all deserve specially commendations!

I stayed at Regency Heritage for a two week stay for rehabilitation. The best part of my stay was the physical and occupational therapy. I made great progress, and ended my stay confident that I could continue my recovery at home. Everyone there was great, but I especially want to commend the occupational therapist and the physical therapist. I would also like to commend my aides. Both were quick to answer requests, forever helpful and made my stay much easier.

We are grateful for the tender care that our mother received. We want to make sure everyone know what it meant to my family and to her to have professional and compassionate help so generously extended to perfect strangers. All the staff got to know my mother, and tried to meet her demanding standards for care and attention. We particularly thank the nurses who cared for my mom's personal needs with professional, kindness and compassion. The speech therapist and the physical therapist did all they could to help her regain her strength and ability to do things for herself. They were available to us and explained her program whenever we asked Everyone was amazingly available to us. It takes more than professional training to create a sense of care and purpose. It takes deep respect and understanding that health care and support is more than medical treatment. My family commends everyone who works here.

My mother-in-law chose Regency Heritage because the facility was located close to our home. From her first day of residence, the loving staff in her unit treated her like a member of their own family. Details of her personal preferences were quickly obtained and in a very short time they organized poker games and provided enough bingo, trivia games, and craft projects to keep her busy and active. We were so relieved at having her medical problems under control of the conscience care the Regency doctors and nurses provided.

My mom was at Regency for subacute rehab for 2.5 months. I would like to thank the PT/OT for helping her to walk again. [name removed], the social worker, was especially helpful with discharge planning and looking in on my mom as I could not be there due to Covid. I would also like to thank [name removed] for always attempting to make visitations possible.

The staff provided the best care for my mom and for other patients of the Sub Acute Department. The staff, doctors, all the aids, nurses, food providers, and personnel performed their jobs with excellence and worked to provide the maximum medical care and comfort for the patients. I would recommend Regency Heritage to everyone.

They gave excellent care and attention to my father when he stayed at Regency Jewish Heritage. The competency of their staff was inspiring and my father was very lucky to have caring nurses and assistants.

My mother was at Regency Heritage for PT/OT. The aides were caring. They always had a fun sense of humor and were able to make my mom laugh when did not feel like it. The personalized care she received was exceptional. They took care of her with dignity and respect.

My mother is a resident at Regency Heritage. I am so happy to always see the patience and loving care that her aide provides her, especially while feeding her. It takes a special person to take care of the physical and emotional needs of the elderly. It really seems like this is the "calling" of all the workers at Regency. My mother is so fortunate.

The staff at Regency Heritage gave wonderful care to my husband. It's never an easy decision to choose to let a loved one be cared for in a nursing home, but the attention and care provided by the staff to my husband proved to be a wise and comfortable decision for us. I'd like to give a special thank you to the Director of Admissions, who worked with me and addressed the needs of my husband with compassion and professionalism. Additionally, I would like to thank the nurses and aides that made sure he was comfortable. Everyone from the social workers to the therapist, to the nutritionists and all support staff made his stay pleasant. I recommend Regency Heritage to other who have to make the decision of placing their loved ones into full time or rehabilitative care.

Regency Heritage is one of the finest establishments I have ever encountered. The staff and administration are wonderful. From the moment we walked in, it was warm and cheery, just like home.

I'm very grateful for the way I was treated at the Regency Heritage in Somerset, NJ. The physical therapists were very helpful and I am especially thankful for their patience and kindness.

Regency gave many wonderful years of care to my mother. All the nursing staff and aides were wonderful an provided loving care to my mother. She was able to reside in comfort and in good health for more than 14 years.
