Solstice Senior Living at Fairport

From the moment we first walked in the door, we were warmly greeted by staff and residents alike. The place instantly felt like home, it is the right size where it felt like a home rather than an institution. [name removed] has interesting, diverse and fun activities for the residents, the food is very good, and the staff are all caring. The apartments are nicely sized and have good natural light. My mom has been happy settling in there and even has her cat and small dog with her, which makes it more like home for her too.

The staff are very friendly. The grounds look amazing. They are very family friendly - we have a large family and we love to go for dinner with mom and they have the space for our visits.

Solstice has been great and done exactly what we have asked of them. Everything is going just fine, they do a really nice job keeping the community very clean. The staff members have been very friendly. It is a very welcoming community that gives somebody who is in need of first level assistance, and based on our experience so far we would recommend them to other families.

It is great that the have different activities for the residents to choose from. It is a very nice, clean and friendly community. Tom was easy to work with. He did a great job at finding the right fit my loved one here.

The community gave me free range to decorate and make it feel like my own. The location is good and close to shopping centers nearby. It is easy to get to, and close to the Catholic Church. There are only about 150 people. They have good rules and regulations. I've been talking to people who have been here for 5-9 years. We all feel like home. Everyone is so friendly. The only complaint is I felt they didn't have enough storage. There is no stove in the apartments. I would highly recommend this community to others. It is quiet and in a safe location.

We chose Solstice Senior Living because of the friendliness of the staff members that we interacted with, they were helpful and willing to answer all times of questions. They also made the best arrangements they could with covid and made me feel safe being there. They are very careful with covid, I do feel like she is well taken care of. Her room sizes here is great for her needs. Overall, I am pleased and would recommend this facility.

Solstice is very nice, but the apartments don't have any type of kitchen at all to speak of. They have a lot of activities. The food was decent. More pricey than Legacy at Erie Station, but still $1500 a month less than the Landing of Brighton.

I was looking for a short term post-Rehab type of a place for my senior friend after she broke her leg. Have contacted about 2 dozen apartments and independent senior living communities in Rochester. [Name removed], Community Contact at Solstice Senior Living at Fairport, was exceptionally caring, helpful and responsive! He was willing to accommodate our need for the furnished unit, the urgent placement, he was following up with me daily, even through the holiday weekend, to assure that my friend has a place to stay and that her needs are met. I am out of town, attempting to help my friend long distance that made it especially difficult and stressful for us both. My interaction with [name removed] immediately brought a peace of mind to us that my friend would have a good, caring place to recover. Did like this location and the separate villas were OK. They went overboard with 3 actual meals/day.

not what I was looking for. The location is hot for the type of place. Looks good on the outside, but inside very sterile and staff very commission driven.

Mom is still adjusting to living at this community. So far we have been impressed with the staff. They are understanding and caring. We are pleased with the food and the community is clean. The staff due encourage the residents to participate in some of the daily activities. Mom has a nice secure apartment.

They have a sufficient variety of food choices so mom can find something to fit her dietary needs. They have a nice variety of daily activities. The community is clean and well taken care of. The staff have been friendly and helpful. I would recommend this community.

The tour I had of this community was fantastic. The property was very bright and was spotless throughout the entire building. The staff was on time to our appointment and made sure to give us a detailed tour of there facility without feeling rushed or pressured. Overall great experience it just was not the right location in the end decision.
