Solstice Senior Living at Bakersfield

I recommend this facility for a loved one. The staff is amazingly cordial. They seem quite efficient, well organized, responsive, professional, courteous.

They were very friendly and extremely accommodating. The apartment and the staff members were the 2 things that really stuck out to us initially and those were the reasons we chose Solstice over others we looked into. It is also a very clean place.

I had a respite stay at Solstice Senior Living in Bakersfield. The people are friendly and the food is good. The facilities were just remodeled and are nice and comfortable. I would recommend this facility to others.

What we like most about the Solstice Senior Living are the staff, They are very nice to us. Which is super important. There are a variety of things to do. They always decorate well and the place looks really nice.

This has been wonderful experience. I am really happy with the variety of services the community offers my loved one. The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The food is great for my loved one. There are three meals and day served and there are choices for the residents to choose from. There is a fridge for snacks the residents can access as well. My loved is very activity now with all the activities the community provides the residents.

Overall it is a very nice facility. However, we were told that they have a chef who prepared fantastic meals. I've viewed my loved one's meals and am very disappointed. The elderly need to stay away form so many carbs and need more protein. I wouldn't feed my kids the meals they serve. Other than that, it's very nice. It's clean and aesthetic looking. For holidays, they decorate and make it look nice. And the interactions I've had with the staff have been very friendly.

The rooms are a good size. There are multiple choices to choose from at mealtimes. The place is located in a very nice neighborhood. And the facility and it's surroundings have a lot of trees and green grass. It's a really pleasant, nice atmosphere. We toured several places in the area, and this was definitely the best choice.

You would be happy if you check this community out for you or your loved one. The staff are great. They explain everything for you and what is offered and what is not it is very nice and the people are very nice and helpful also. They have activities like bingo, church services and more for the residents to do to have a good time and stay busy in the community. My loved ones have not been here for long but they do well with having things for the residents to do.

This is a wonderful place to live and the people here do not ever move out and have been here for many many years at this community. They have activities like bean bag baseball, music trivia and a dice rolling game to keep the residents busy.

The staff members are very friendly and they are always willing to help out. The building is nice and our loved ones apartment is really nice. She is well cared for there and we do not have to worry. The only complaint our loved one has would be about the food, and other residents complain about it as well.

This community has a great environment and wonderful staff. The only issues at first we saw some bugs and we also had some problems with the nursing staff that they suggested. The room sizes were nice and they had good food with good variety. I would recommend this community but don't use their suggestion when it comes to nursing help.

They keep all of the residents engaged in activities Even now, during COVID, they do activities over the loud speaker like bingo and exercise. The food is pretty good and they offer a variety. I chose this community because the pricing was more affordable, it was close to her doctor's offices and church, and we knew some residents that already lived there. It really is a nice place to live. The community is very friendly and so are the staff.

I went on a tour here and it was nice and seemed clean. The staff was nice and helpful and answered all of my questions. I liked the apartments here they were nice. The dining room was right near the front which I thought was just awkward. It was independant living and mom needs a little help.

My sister and I were very happy with what we had seen at Carriage House Estates. We have signed a contract and look forward to her residing there. We also have several others that are interested in you community. Sincerely, [Removed]

I think mom is happy and as independent as she can be at Carriage House Estates. She has already made some friends and enjoys going to the dining room to socialize. They have a good selection and variety of the meals that they serve. Mom has participated in some of the activities that they offer like baseball bing bag and Bingo. She really enjoys going to their beauty shop once a week. The community reminds me of a huge beautiful hotel. She likes her apartment it's the perfect size for her and being on the first floor she has her own private access to her apartment. Sahe also has a small patio area. I'm glad she is finally happy and living in a good area that we all feel comfortable with.
