I would not recommend Savannah Court of Maitland as it is run by the same director as a previous facility we had a poor experience at. Their rehab facility there was great though.
They are under staffed sometimes one med tech for up to 40 people. They take hours to answer the emergency cord. They are so late with the medication that they have to skip to the next dose several times a week . They give baths if you're lucky once a month ( just look at the greasy hair) . When you present greivences to the Administration they give you the run around, so please don't send your loved ones here.

We chose Savannah Court because they had really good ratings, the area is gorgeous, and the location worked out very well. We drove by and it was really pretty, we really liked the sales director when we met with her and she helped me out a lot. We had him for respite care. They were great with communication and would reach out and ask to see how I was doing. If you are looking for a place where you can reach out to them and get heartfelt responses, this is the place to go.

We had a great first impression that would be 5 out of 5. The community is beautifully decorated, the rooms are spacious, light and bright. However we feel that more help you need you may not get the adequate care or attention. The care and friendliness of the staff is a hit or miss depending on who you are talking to.

I have a great apartment. Chef [Name removed] treats us well. Staff is nice. Manager is very smart. Runs a good ship.
I moved here 2 years ago. They make it good to live here. Food is good too!
It is very good here. We like it. You should come tour.
We moved here 3 months ago, and should have done it sooner. So me nice to not cook or clean and have friends again.
Living here for 2 years. Love my apartment its the right size. Chef {name removed} is my favorite. Takes good care of us.
It's been a very hard experience, but that's just based on our specific family dynamics. It's hard to communicate with the staff. That's my biggest problem. Part of that is Covid. When I do get ahold of them, they're very responsive. I know they have a lot on their plate, but I wish there was better communication. That is my ONLY opportunity for improvement for them. Otherwise, the people are very nice, they keep it very clean, it's very easy to get in there, and my loved one is very happy. The lady at the front desk is amazing. My loved one enjoys the activities and looks forward to them - she loves the music they bring in. The entertainment and the celebrations are wonderful. Compared to other places that we looked at, I'm impressed with how nice it is for being so affordable. Everyone gets a private room, which is a huge plus. I'm very happy with this place.

I would want others to know it was not a good experience. I toured on 2 different occasions pre-covid and during covid so there was a notable difference. Both times I met with their sales and marketing director and I was most impressed with him. After that it went downhill. I met with him several times, emailed him, called him telling him she was immobile and they assured me that she would be a good fit for level 3 care. That ended up not being the case and they knew that she was not a candidate for assisted living. I did not find them to be very helpful especially with this being my first experience. I asked to move her things in since she was so frail, they said no problem and I have an email showing this. We rented a U Haul and showed up and they said that they did not allow move ins on Saturdays and they turned us away. When we did get in, the previous residents information was still on the back of the door, the carpets were not vacuumed, and it had not been clean at all prior to us moving her things in. We try to move her again the following Saturday which had been arranged and once again they had no idea we were coming. Communication was a major issue here and there were many things they dropped the ball on. She fell many times because no one responded to her call button and she ended up breaking her hip. There was a major lack of care and I would not recommend the facility to anyone who is looking.

We felt the place was not well kept, even though we understand renovations were stopped due to COVID [name removed] was very nice but looked kind of messy. Food sample was terrible most important: that is NOT a one bedroom apt. What they have is a studio!!!

The staff is very friendly and upbeat. They had some activities always going on. The rooms had a very nice view and were very spacious. Just make sure that if your loved one has and disabilities they are able to get around in their space ok. I would definitely recommend this community to others

We chose this facility because it was a first time thing and after looking around at about 4 different facilities, it looked homey and the affordable at the time. I would tell others to talk to others who have been there themselves or who have had loved ones in there and have had experience. After our experience, I would not recommend.

you will need to be very vigilant and advocate for your loved one yourself. You need to follow up with management and staff to make sure things are being done correctly and that they do what they say they're going to do. I would not recommend this facility

Make sure that you read the materials and you understanding exactly what services that will be provided. Especially the days of the week and the time before you commit to anything. The rooms are nice, and our loved one really enjoys the food, there is a nice variety.

We chose Savannah Court because at the time, she had a dog. She wanted a secure place that she could take her dog out and they had a courtyard here. There were many things that they mislead us on once we moved in. They said they provided medical transportation, they did not tell us it was only on Tuesdays and Thursday's between 10-2 and that they wont go more than 5 miles out. They said they would take care of her medicine for her, they ordered her prescriptions from the wrong facility and are costing us a fortune, they have also lost her medicine a couple of times and ordered medications that she no longer needed. They have mold in the facility and in her room that we have found. They also told us we would take care of claims, and I have to do it myself otherwise it does not get done. They are nice people and all but they have a general lack of detail and communication and we expected more for the amount of money we pay. My mom is happy here so we have made it work for the time being.

The care services at this community seem to be a fine, but because of COVID we have not been able to visit. There seems to be something always happening at this community, they had daily activities for the residents. They even provided physical therapy. Overall we believe we our loved one is well taken care of at this community

The community was mostly clean. The staff was very friendly when we were there. The care giving staff seems like they are doing what they can. Because of the Covid-19 pandemic, they are a little limited on what they can do for activities.
