I am a current tenant and cannot wait to move out of this place. The management is horrible and careless. Previous management was a couple husband and wife that had great reviews and all tenants really miss them. Unfortunately they left and have been replaced by [names removed], I have spoken to many other tenants and there is NO ONE that has good things to say about them, including myself. They are lazy, unresponsive, and barely do any work at all, things like elevators, main gates, water system, break down often and they act annoyed if you ask what is going on and when things will be taken care of. Seldom in the office, they recently told the tenants they could not be bothered after 12 for a week because they had to learn a new system, systematically cancel 60-70 percent of the events they schedule and if you have an issue and need to speak to them they quickly dismiss you either by lying through their teeth or reciting the agreement which they interpret according to what is convenient.

I can tell it's a really great location to live since I saw it firsthand when I visited the area because my mother is also in a retirement community at [removed] and wanted to explore additional places like this one. The administration and maintenance staff do an excellent job of keeping this facility clean, organized, quiet, and well-maintained. They are all quite pleasant, as are the numerous others we have met who live here. Thank you for a wonderful apartment experience!

Very nice place and pleasant people. Few issues, distance further out than I would like but would be okay if I change jobs. There is a laundry room instead of my own W/d in the unit. Also feels a little like a hotel, but could get used to once I was there

This is not a full service community. They don't serve meals. However, It might be something to consider depending on our health.

A very good possibility. Two bedrooms would be perfect.

A Place for Mom has scored Royal Oaks Senior Apartments 1 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
