Do not send your loved on here . My mom is here and it's the worst experience ever. Today she got a new room mate I went into her room and there were several ppl in her room and the others roommates stuff was all over the place and my mom had to sit in cafeteria . I went in the room to put stuff I brought my mom and could not access my mom's fridge so I asked to move something out of the way . The nurse who doesn't work there who brought her was agitated I asked and got snotty with me n told me to leave the room I asked her would she like to step outside to discuss it instead of talking infront over everyone in the room . The roommate told the staff at Northcrest I threaten her I did not . I was pleasant n respectful. Said she was scared of me now I'm not allowed to visit my mom in her room . When I do my mom's laundy , I visit everyday , I shower her , help her eat . Instead of even talking to me they banned me from my mom . This place is disgusting and very unreasonable .

At the end of life the care was not good. Most of the staff is kind but you have a couple of bad med techs and aides th at do not care for the residence. Short staff is the problem. 1 med tech and 1 aide to care for residence that some need more care and help. It takes a special person to care for our elderly folks.

Robbinswood has provided consistent and quality care to mom. The activities are engaging and th food satisfies her appetite. My mom has a remodeled room and the bathroom door was replaced with a wider one to accommodate her wheelchair. I would recommend Northcrest to anyone looking for a great value facility.

I was not prepared for the carelessness, lack of accountability, unethical practices, ignorance, and outright mistakes on the part of the people in charge of even basic needs and requests. I soon found out, a little too late. I was overwhelmed to observe the lack of care and attention to the residents, particularly my love one. Bed wounds all over the body, when I mentioned it to the nurse, She stated” No one brought it to her attention” However, before informing her I asked how often she check and inspect the patients, she stated It’s her daily routine. I frequently visited my love one friend, I notice the same poop in the toilet that was their two weeks ago!!!! I notice they prefer the residents to be medicated, less work. You will hardly see the doctor in charge and the conversations with the “head nurse” is so dishonorable. This facility is simply heartbreaking. Advice- Please take better care of your health while you can. If you foresee yourself going into an assisted living home, do your research NOW. If you must place your love one in a home, Document and record everything, every visit and dialogue with the staff. Check your love one for sores, ask questions- Did you bath, what did you eat? Do any activities, did your medication arrive on time? Be sure to check and inspect the room for cleanliness. More importantly, take your time and don’t rush the decision. Visit the facility unannounced several times and PRAY. Formerly known as Northcrest Assisted Living.

My mother has recently made the move into this community and she has had a little bit of a hard time adjusting but for the most part things are going okay. The meals smell good and she has had no complaints about them so far so I am happy with that. They did not have an activity director for a period time which concerned me because that is one of the main reasons I moved her in this place. I am hoping they get the ball rolling on getting everyone involved in activities again. My only complaint that I have is that they need to update all of the bathrooms.

Smelled like a nursing home as we walked in Morgan kept apologizing for the mess as they apparently are trying to upgrade the facility. I let Morgan know that my brother would need a wheelchair as he has broken his foot. She gave me one with no pedals. I had to ask for a different chair. They didn't let us see the rooms [removed] offered to feed us lunch that was nice. However, the facility was very old, unkempt, and didn't appeal to Rich.

New owners, new philosophy of care, better educated and empowered employees = better service and caring for the resident guests. Change is always difficult and it appears as the staff is weathering the new owners well and embracing the improvements which will benefit the residents. The place looks cleaner, am told food is better and happier faces on staff who treat the residents as family. Hopefully this will continue, and it will be a wonderful reasonably priced place for the elderly. God bless those involved!!

My Mom's first 5 years here were OK, there is not a lot of social space and the food is not fresh and not seasoned well (mostly canned or frozen). A year ago they brought in a new director and she is very cold to the residents--this is a business only for her and she has lied to us several times about expectations. They have semi-private rooms but they do not work well for wheelchair residents, when two wheelchair users are in the same room they cannot access the room or closets. The company states they don't have to keep anything ADA accessible. The bathrooms (all shared)are very small, do not meet ADA requirements (27" door width). There is very little social space here. The new director fired the previous recreation director and now their activities are primarily coloring pages (degrading and cheap). I am moving my Mom out of there as soon as possible.

A Place for Mom has scored Robbinswood Northcrest Campus 6 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
