River's Edge Assisted Living

Finding the right place to help with a parent is a daunting and emotional task. My wife and I found ourselves in a tough spot with an aging parent and solicited several assisted living facilities in the Yuma area for help. The River’s Edge was by far the most helpful and accommodating in our time of need. [name removed] was amazing! He jumped through a lot of hoops to get us situated quickly. We are very appreciative of the support that Jesus and the staff provided to our family when we needed it most. The facility is clean, well-staffed with friendly people, and affordable. The food is excellent, and my father-in-law is happy as a clam in his new environment. If you find yourself in a similar situation, I highly recommend that you give The River’s Edge a chance to help with your loved ones.

The staff is friendly and helpful, the food is healthy. I wholeheartedly recommend this property as an excellent place to be.

We scheduled a tour on the phone and met with [name removed]. The price was right and the size of the one bedroom apartment was just right. We are concerned about having them on the second floor. They have an elevator but I think about my father getting up when he shouldn't expecially at night and stair and railing from second floor etc. The place is a 2 story motel conversion and doesn't look too bad. It doesn't have the look of some of the fancier places though. People staff were very friendly. They appear to have more than adequate care.

I waited a few months to review so we could get a good feel for this place. But it's proven to be very nice for my husband. This place is awesome! The staff are friendly and helpful, the dining facilities are very nice, there is plenty of good food provided. The office staff were very helpful in working through some insurance issues. They are also well kept up, healthy plants and trees, green grass, with pretty water fountains. I feel fortunate we found this place.

I would recommend River's Edge to anyone for their loved one. The staff was very caring and concerned for my loved one's care. The community was quick to respond to questions or concerns about my loved one, anytime I called.

My family would like to thank the staff at Rivers Edge for their wonderful caring and support of our aunt; from the nurses and support staff on the second floor, the wait staff in the dining room, to the people who organize ways to entertain the residents. The Rivers Edge has lovely rooms for activities and dining. Tasty meals are creative, varied and nutritious. There are many activities provided that are well attended by the residents. - music, painting, exercise classes and more. The seasonal special events like the Christmas with family members featured a live band and excellent hors d'oeuvres and lots of people taking photos of the fun. Special thank you to the management for being proactive in adopting safety measures throughout the COVID emergency. They ensured the safety of everyone from residents to staff. Thank you!
