My mom was discharged from Concord Hospital to here. She got lousy care, call bells were never answered in a timely manner, she did not get meds she was supposed to, she was not properly cared for, and she begged me not to complain, because she was concerned about retribution!!!!!! I was so angry when she was finally discharged, the nurse dumped her meds in a bag and said sign these papers. I refused until I checked the meds. It took FOUR trips to the med cart to get what belonged to her, and she was STILL missing things that they claimed had never been delivered! She was there for 29 days and had been.missing that med the whole time?!! When she would leave the facility for Dr appts, someone would go in and eat her food, other times they claimed they gave it to someone else and she would go without!! They are short staffed and most employees couldn't care less. Her pt people were great, but they are contracted from someplace else. I would NEVER recommend a Genesis facility.

Residents don’t get taken care of nUrses disappear left in pain crying out left iN bed wet clothes it stinks please go elsewhere.

My mother was a patient. I found the care to be quite poor. My mom had unnoticed, untreated infections. Her clothing was often found in a laundry bag covered in fecal matter. At the end of her life, she had an episode, and I was told that she was fine. I said that I would come right in. (3AM). I was told no, that she was fine. She died two hours later, and I did not have an opportunity to be with her.
