Pembroke Angel Care

The atmosphere is very calm and peaceful. The caregivers are attentive, the food is great, and Mom is well-cared-for and content. I have peace of mind and can sleep at night, no longer plagued by constant worries about my mother.

I looked at 6 places and this one was the best.They are great.

Let me start of by saying I was so terrified to put my papa into a nursing home and for good reason I had him in 3 different very expensive nursing homes I would walk in and he would be so dirty and sad he wasn’t being taken care of then my daughter-inlaw found Pembroke angel care it’s a dream place it’s always clean they treat my papa like family all the residents look amazing and happy the staff is so loving I could go on for days about how amazing Pembroke is all I know is I can sleep peacefully now and my anxiety about my papa is gone because he is in the most amazing place you could put a loved one I truly can’t thank them enough for the love and compassion they show to my papa even on his worst days and that takes a true angel to do this work… with all my heart thank you for all you do!

It was the first place I visited, and on very short notice. I was impressed with everything about it and found myself comparing everywhere else to Pembroke. It's a beautiful home, very peaceful, the caregivers are amazing. When I first brought Mom there, they immediately started engaging her so that she would get comfortable with them. When I returned from out of town two weeks later, she went to use the bathroom with one of the caregivers -- whereas previously she insisted that I help her in the bathroom. They made her adjustment much easier than I had anticipated. It's terribly expensive, but she's getting a lot of personal attention, which she desperately needed. Mom has no interest in activities. That's probably their weakest area, but for my purposes, I have no concerns.

Pembroke Angel Care has several very good features. The quality of care is excellent, the environment is very homey, and food, his home cook, and very good, and overall, the operation is managed very well. I am the brother of a patient and he is very happy with Pembroke.

They're very welcoming. They're happy to have visits from the family, and they always make me feel welcome They take great care of my loved one. He's not always the most cooperative person and can give them a hard time, but they're very patient. And they know him well, so they know how to work with him. I have no complaints at all.

I can summarize my family’s experience with Pembroke AC in just three words - PEACE OF MIND. From the ownership to the staff - extraordinary from top to bottom. The home is beautiful, in a great location and always super clean. I’ll share that in previous experiences we had with other facilities, there was almost always some sense of lingering concern present in the back of our minds as far as how well our mom was truly being cared for and accommodated or that sense of questioning at times whether certain things we were being told by previous staff were in fact the truth. I can happily and honestly say that stress and anxiety is no longer present and just what an amazing difference that makes for the well-being of all involved. We’re so grateful for that and we feel blessed.

Pembroke gives our mom the best care possible. Moms room and bathroom is always clean and sanitized. The house is always clean and clear of clutter. There is plenty of room for a walker or wheelchair. Our mom thinks of her caretakers as her family, she doesn’t like to be away from them for very long. I just can’t thank Pembroke enough for the care they give our mom. Mom is always happy when we go see her. The caretakers keeps her busy n occupied with lots of activities Thanks Pembroke

The staff has compassion for everyone. They know their business very well. The care for our Mom is evident by her overall care, health and looks. The rooms are spacious with their own bathrooms. It sure helps maintain Mom privacy. They do assist with showers. They have activities for the ones that can do them. It’s a wonderful place for mom!

Pembroke is a smaller facility with more personalized care. It is very easily accessible and there is a lot of flexibility for family members to visit and take the residents out with still being safe. [name removed] has been taking great care of my mom. I really like the place and the experience has been great.

Pembroke Angel Care was the perfect choice for my terminally ill sister when we could no longer care for her ourselves. Emanuel and the staff were compassionate, competent and communication with our family was prompt. They truly went above and beyond for my sister and our family dynamics. This is not a facility or nursing home. From the room layout with private baths, home cooked meals, and attentive care, this really does feel like home! I am sincerely grateful for Pembroke Angel Care for providing comfort and kindness to not only my sister but our family as well. I highly recommend Emanuel and his staff!

I would highly recommend Pembroke Angel Care for your elderly loved one. It is run by professional and caring staff who have demonstrated continuously that the their top priority is the well being of their elderly members. The exterior of the home is well landscaped and the interior is spotlessly clean at all times. Communications with the staff is as good as it gets, they respond instantly whenever one reaches out to them. One can sense the level of empathy in the care consistently shown by all staff members. Again, I would highly recommend PEMBROKE.

I highly recommend Pembroke Angel Care for everyone who is in need for a nice place for their parents or loved ones. It’s a clean home type environment. The staff is really nice, professional and well trained.

My mother had a resident at Pembroke Angel Care for almost 2 years . This place is truly an answer to prayer. First impression was how clean it was, and that all the residents look well cared for. My mother is always clean and well dressed no matter what time I visit. [name removed] and his wife take care of her like family, very loving and protective. I am always informed of how she is doing and even get pictures of her. I can’t put into words how thankful I am to have her there.

Pembroke Angel Care has been a wonderful find for my mom and my family. It is not a nursing home, but rather a home. It's always perfectly clean, and the staff inspire trust and confidence. I have not found any other facility with whom I would entrust my mother's care.

The owner really wanted for all of us to be happy with his place and went out of his way to give us the best care that he could for our loved one. I felt like he was working hard to meet Covid restrictions. My loved one was in the facility for several weeks before she died, and they were wonderful, particularly during the last few days when she was transitioning as hospice calls it.
