My mother lived in the independent building and as she was having a crisis and needed help I walked in late on a business day just as the General Manager was leaving and she stopped everything to ensure my mothers needs were met. I do agree that it is quite expensive to live in this residence but you pay for the ability to go home at night and know that you loved ones are going to be well cared for and for that it is priceless. They made unreasonable requests of the client. They did not admit that they couldn't provide my loved one's level of care. They were disorganized. They didn't have enough staff to provide quality care. I would not recommend them for Memory/Dementia care.
The tour was excellent. It was good to speak with residents and hear directly how it has been going for them to live in Park Place. It was good to observe the friendliness of the residents with each other.

They told me that my senior friend needed more supervision so now at $6000. Plus per month there is little assistance . Wash was not done and she had to beg for a roll of toilet paper. Her bed is not changed or made and she was to have more cueing for activities which are sadly lacking. Very disappointing.

They nickel and dime everything and pushed to have a senior moved to more care. Sadly they are not doing much to cue her to laundry days and changing her bed. The supervision is minimal and staff do nothing to bond with residence and cue them for the activities Very disappointed in the services at +6,000. Per moth

This is a wonderful home that cares about the residents. Long standing staff members makes the care more consistent for my father. Managment has changed quite frequently but finally seems to be a team that is passionate and caring.

Terrible place. It's all about the profit and bottom line. My mother lived there for 3 years. The more she paid for her services, the less got done. Bathroom was seldom cleaned, food got worse, some very shady events security-wise, frequent change of management. Staff were indifferent and even hostile to our family's concerns. Take your loved ones elsewhere.

[Name removed] is a lovely advocate for the residences. Well laid out venue. Staff called residents by name and seemed to know their routines. Suites viewed were clean although kitchen spaces a bit dated. However as resd Necessary provide meals and parents would only nominally use kitchen areas might not be an issue. All staff that I was introduced to were friendly and willing to talk. There was a strong smell as you entered second building through the adjoining tunnel which was likely attributed to the hair salon chemicals but as it was just beside the craft kitchen and sorts room, doctors office and library concerned that would bother prospective residents.

I toured this facility and loved the new renovations. It had a great activity program and was able to provide the care in which we were looking for. The building was clean and the staff were friendly.

Unfortunately my mother did not fit in on the secure floor. She is not a wanderer and has only mild dementia. She did not like having to have an escort whenever she wanted to visit the library or hairdresser. The only reason I moved her to Park Place was when she was in the hospital after she neglected to take her meds. As a result she was very confused and I felt like the medical staff were putting me under pressure to move her to a secure floor. Once her medical status was under control, she wanted to move back to her previous residence. That was accomplished recently and she is much happier.

I really like this one. My 85 year old father was with me and he also liked it. This one is a contender for sure, but my sister-in-law wants me to see a few more places.

A well maintained facility with lots to offer. I only saw one suite on this visit but it certainly looked good -- I was told I might be able to see others on a return visit. Staff were friendly, residents seemed content. Once again, a great program of activities is offered, and there is the added benefit of a 'sister' independent-living building where there are some additional activities available there. Finally, it is in a good location for me to visit my mother

I have no complaints about the visit I had at this community for my mother. The staff where on time to our appointment and made sure to answer any questions that I had for them. They gave us a great overall tour and had a lot of nice amenities available to all of the residents. It was just not the fit for my mother in the end decision.

My aunt has only been there for a few days but so far everything has surpassed our expectations. A very friendly staff who have been very welcoming and helpful, and also some very nice residents who have offered to show her around and sit with her during her first few meals. The apartment is cozy and well out-fitted and so far she is very happy there!

Great place with walking near, close to home, good care options, very nice staff, residence seem well cared for. Expensive. Rooms nice but smallish. 10 minute drive, can cycle there 2016: still like it but expensive. Studio at 4500 per month. Need to get a detailed description of the care. Hoyer lift.

It's a nice place. It's clean and the staff is friendly. Mom seems to be happy here. Sometimes they will over bill, or double bill for something, but when I bring it up they are quick to address it, and get it fixed right away, but something to keep your eye out for. We chose it because we liked the location. So far it's been working out well.

The contact, Mara Eby, was very helpful, and knew her space. I saw a couple of units, and received literature regarding pricing, etc. I even received a follow-up letter, with a luncheon invitation. A nice facility, but perhaps not for my mother.
