Two years my father has been bed bug food. The building is infested.

Cityview is a fantastic retirement home. My sister has lived there for over a year absolutely loves it.The staff are friendly, caring , respectful and ready to help with any situation. The meals are excellent and varied. The home is clean, bright well maintained.Despite the restrictions and challenges of COVID-19 Cityview continues to offer safe and meaningful activities to the residents. We are so pleased and relieved to have found such an excellent retirement residence.

This retirement home is truly a home. I cannot give it higher than an 10/10 but i wish i could. The managers care so much about the residents and their safety and happiness. Staff go above and beyond on a daily basis. I have been in there several times and have been treated so well by everyone from the receptionists and cleaners all the way up to the GM. City View is a locally owned business and the entire team there works hard to keep our loved ones happy. This is a unique and amazing place and i recommend it for your family.

My mother moved in Summer 2019. My sister and I spend alot of time there visiting with our mother. We really come to love the place. The Senior residents all seem to look out for each other. The 'new management' truly strives to assist their residents and family ensuring any request is actioned. The Frontline workers Receptionists, Cleaning Staff, Restaurant Staff and Restaurant Management take time to know their Residences. They truly are a caring and an amazing Staff. The Staff always take care in helping where they can. My mother never feels lonely there as it is a smaller but very home away from atmosphere. The Nurseing Staff who we have had to rely on to assist my mom have been nothing but very caring. This gives my sister and I much relief knowing our mother is in good hands. Cityview does added special activity events that are well thought out with a wonderful variety of food at these events to it off. Check out their photos on Facebook of these events as they truly make it enjoyable for all their residents. I love that we are also always included to join in at these special events. Ensuring we feel welcomed. I can only tell you how my sister have come to adore this place. If you visit I think you will see and feel that warm atmosphere for yourself. Thank you Cityview Staff again for all the wonderful things you strive to do. We notice it as we are there alot. Cheers to all your hard efforts in making this a cozy home for Seniors. This is my second review in 7 months and I am still very pleased with the care my legally blind elderly cousin is receiving .She was at first so incredibly unhappy to give up her home and independence . We can’t believe how she has improved with the wonderful care she is receiving.. The staff have been approachable, caring and helpful. Her transition was not easy but the PSW’s and nurses have been diligent in her care. She is always well groomed, her room is clean and her needs met. We are extremely pleased . She is thriving.

We are very pleased with the care my elderly legally blind cousin is receiving. We love the homey atmosphere and the accessibility to the directors, nurses and PSW’s . I know all of their names and they know mine. My cousin can be difficult at times with the transition from independent living to full care and the PSW ‘s have been kind respectful and attentive to her needs...from changing the radio or TV station to dealing with her incontinence . She is kept clean and comfortable. Her suite is clean and tidy and her clothes and bedding are laundered regularly. Going to the resident hairdresser and having her nails done by the foot care nurse was a real pick me up for her. The food is excellent as is her appetite. Another relative of mine is in independent living here and is enjoying her accommodation and all the activities offered.

great experience in visiting the home retirement

This place has many problems. From banning family members, mistreating and abusing staff, ongoing problem with bed bugs... not a good place for your loved one. Another demonstration was held on April 28th to bring these problems to light in the hope they would clean up their act and to stop misusing the Trespassing Act as a weapon for gagging family's complaints. The building is a beautiful facility but management has to change and focus on the welfare and best interests of their clients.

My step-father is a resident at City View Retirement and is very happy with the accommodations, home cooked meals, cleanliness and friendliness of the facility. I go there may times to visit with him and have witnessed this first hand. The staff are great and always attentive to the needs of everyone. They post a list of their daily activities and often get headline entertainment to play there. They keep everyone busy, from crafts to gatherings. A great place to be!

CityView is a beautiful facility, my tour was amazing, I loved all the amenities and the food was great, made from scratch, impressive. I would highly recommend this Retirement Living Community, it just felt like home. Thank you [name removed] for the wonderful tour and valuable insight, it was very impressive!
