Park Crescent Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center

It is going well. They are doing well in therapy but my loved one needs therapy daily. She is not crazy about the food and the communication could be better. If I do not ask, they do not call me.

My stay went well. The meals have been fine but sometimes food is missing or I get things I did not order.

I like them there! My loved one loved a few of the nurses and she really enjoyed their care. She didn't complain except that she didn't get help with some of her personal medical equipment.

Our stay has been fine but they should be clearer with giving information to the patients.

They check on my loved one and give her her medication, but I would like more therapy and getting her up and out.

I have seen some improvement with my husband while he's been there. I do commend them for the progress he's made. I recently had a meeting with them and got some good information but before that didn't know what they were doing with him. I think the communication needs to be better to the family members and there needs to be more of it.

I would recommend someone to come here. I go by what I see. I met people on other floors and they are happy here. I like the place but sometimes I do not like some of the workers. Sometimes I do not like the food but outside of that, I am okay.

They didn't do anything good. They were supposed to have a plan in place for me and they didn't. My sister had a tour of the rehab, and she told them what my needs would be, they didn't have that planned at all.

My mother was in this facility by wound care and healing. I give high recommendation to this facility, in our large experience with my mother, Park Crescent was the best out of all other facilities. The attention and professionalism together with empathy and compassion for not only the patients but their families as well is what makes this place so special.

Everyone was hospitable and friendly. The food and service were good. Everybody provides great care to me and they talk to me.

The staff care was excellent, especially the CNAs!

My loved one has been there before. I like the staff's mannerism and the food is good. The social workers and nurses are caring. When he came back for therapy, the therapists remembered him! One of the nurses was very caring and he was cooperative. If there was a problem, he addressed this. When I was there he was beginning to eat and getting his appetite back. The meals seem to be nutritious and they give food according to his diet. The communication has not been a problem. I met the social worker and I signed the papers and I enjoyed that time. My concerns were addressed and I communicated with the nurses and his doctor as well.

The staff takes care of me, that's for sure. They check on me constantly. The therapists have been coming in and helping me do exercises in my room. Everybody is nice, everybody. They see you, they say hello. They check-in at the beginning of each shift and let me know they'll be on shift with me. Even if they're not my nurse or aide they'll pop in and check on me. The nurses are doing their jobs and when I push my button they come. I had a problem with my food at one time but they straightened out. The food looks nutritious and well balanced. When I ask about something, they'll let me know or get the person who knows to come and answer for me.

We were pleased with my loved one's overall experience here.

Everyone is good and they treat my loved one well. I would most definitely recommend them. This is her place of choice whenever she needs rehab. She doesn't want to go anywhere else than here because the care she gets is excellent. She loves the nurses and the aides that take care of her. The only problem my mom has is that the beds are not comfortable. Everything else is on point. I think the therapists should come daily and get her moving instead of once or twice a week. Housekeeping is good. Every time I go there it's clean. You don't see any paper or leftover food. Even her room and her bathroom are always clean and the garbage is emptied regularly. She doesn't care for the food at all. There's only one option for each meal and you just get whatever they make. They always keep me updated. They have a meeting with family and my mom to let us know how she's doing, from the meals to the physical therapy. Everyone grades her progress, of every aspect of her care, I love that.

The staff is friendly and very helpful. My loved one felt comfortable there. The staff was always cordial and they would ask if it was a good time to put her in bed. They were really respectful of our time while visiting, same as with the nurses. They could have been better with keeping her clean. She didn't find the meals to be very appetizing in general. There wasn't any real taste. It could be healthier and better. If I was there I would get updates on how she was doing and what she was doing throughout the day, they knew who I was. I think they could do better with explaining what kind of medicine they were giving her and why, especially, why she should stay on those medications when she came home. I got a bit in the exit interview but it could have been written down.

I didn't have the best time there and I don't want to go back. The employees there are nice and when you press the button, they show up in a reasonable time. It's too crowded there, they're taking too many people and they cut the day short. Most of the nurses and aides were great! They had smiles and they didn't begrudge me on the service they gave me. It was clean and they had someone come in and mop the floors, and dust the blinds. The meals were not great but they were tolerable.
