Placing my mom in a board and care facility was the hardest decision I've ever had to make. I knew no one would take better care of her than I did. Palomino Residential Care did just that. Placing my mom here turned out to be the best decision I could have ever made. From the moment I drove up to the front, I instinctively knew this was where she was supposed to be. The home is beautiful and clean on the outside and the inside. It is very secure and safe. The staff is amazing and take very good care of my mom. I must admit, they take better care of her than I did. The owners are two of the nicest people I've ever met. They've made this experience so pleasant for me and my mom. They are truly a blessing to my family. I'm so happy that my mom is here. If you are thinking about placing your loved one here, do not hesitate, it will be the best decision you could ever make for your family.

Our Aunty has been residing at Palomino Residential Care home for about six months now. Every visit we've made Aunty is well groomed, wearing clean clothing and looking healthy. Aunty tells us that she happy and eats well through the day. The Primary Caregivers take extra steps to make Aunty comfortable with the knowledge that she suffers with dementia and has mood swings. The Primary Caregivers are patient and has given special treatment to Aunty when she gets agitated. There are good activities and exercises that fits her physical abilities. The Primary Caregivers (the owners) are always willing to work with us and attends to our special requests and questions. One obstacle that Aunty is improving on as time goes on is the language barrier between the employed caregivers, however they are very attentive and patient with Aunty. Overall, we are very happy and delighted that we found this home for Aunty. The home is free from any dangerous obstacles and always appears clean and safe. Our Aunty getting use to her new environment, and we are comfortable that she is being well cared for.

We are so happy with the Grandridge facility. My mom is very comfortable and the staff is amazing! They are always keeping everybody active and happy!

The friendliness of the care givers is amazing Having our dad there has given us immense peace of mind. I don’t worry about him, he is in GGOOD HANDS!!!!!!

What can I say! 5 stars. My mother in law [name removed] was a resident there for several months in 2018/2019. When we went in to check the place out it was very clean (and stayed that way the whole time she was there) and no foul odors you find in some nursing homes. The residents seemed happy, and the workers there were very involved with each resident. We chose this home over a few that we looked at. The owners [name removed] were as involved with [name removed] as the staff. It was not uncommon to see them there. I can say that the staff and owners, by the end of the stay, were like family. As [name removed] went into Hospice I can honestly say if it wasn't for [name removed] I would have been lost setting up all the care she received. They (and the staff) were involved with every aspect of it. At the end of was the owner, [name removed], who was holding my mother in laws hands as she passed. It was late at night and I was on my way over.. and it just happened. If you are reading this know you found a great place and don't hesitate to let your family members stay here.

I saw this listing and wanted to comment about our experience with them. It's a long review - but an honest one. My mother-in-law was a resident here for several months and was on hospice care the last month. She was in from mid 2018 until March of 2019. First, myn wife and I was thrilled to find a place close to home (1 mile). When we went in to check it out what stuck out the most was how clean it was. No weird odors. The staff seemed friendly enough and it was bright.. lots of light coming in. They had a great outdoor area out back and a garden growing vegetables. We did check out a few places and decided on the Palomino Residence. We were never disappointed. The workers that were taking care of my mom-in-law [name removed] were nice, friendly, and always there to lend a hand. The workers also included the owners who were just as active with [name removed]. There was daily exercises and games the staff kept the residents busy with. The main dining table was large enough for everyone including their wheelchairs. Whenever we took her out (for breakfast or dinners) she was ready to go when we got there. As her health progressively got worse the staff would keep us informed of any changes with phone calls. When we visited (which was often) we would often see the owners there. My wife would often sit with her mother on the couch visiting and watching TV or just hanging out with her. When [name removed] finally had hospice care the calls became more frequent, the owners got more involved. They helped us with setting up the nurse and doctor visits. At the end it was one of the owners there holding [name removed]'s hand as she passed. I was on my way there when it happened. My wife and I can't express the level of appreciation we have for the care [name removed] received while there. They treated [name removed] like family. They treated us like family. If you ever have the need and the opportunity to place your loved one here I would highly recommend you do it. If anyone wants to discuss this with us please feel free to reach out to the home.

Very impressed with the facilities & owners [name removed] & [name removed] on my tour today. I like their personal & hands-on approach in providing care for elderly clients along with a dedicated staff & well established operation. This location is also a good fit for my family should my parent be placed here.

This facility is like our home, which is warm and cozy feeling. Inside the home is vey clean and organize. Their staff are very helpful.

[Name removed] and [name removed] are hands-on caregivers who lovingly care for their residents like their own family. Their staff is well-trained and also embody the same heartfelt attitude toward the residents.

PalominoResidentialCare is by far the best senior care home in the entire San Gabriel Valley. I looked all over this area—Pasadena, South Pasadena, Alhambra, San Gabriel, and Arcadia—and without a doubt, PalominoResidentialCare came out an A+. The owners are very involved with every aspect of a person’s care. All the caregivers are polite, respectful, kind, and competent in taking care of the residents. The food is outstanding with many of the fruits and vegetables coming right out of the garden in the back. The residents participate in exercise activities as well as games, puzzles, and sing-a-longs with live music. This is the best place! I hope they are still in business when I am a senior.

Grandridge is amazing. They take exceptional care of my mother. Their place has been completely remodeled and is brand new. I would live there!

It is without hesitation that I feel comfortable writing a positive review for Palomino Residential Care Facility. This Facility truly provides a warm and caring homelike environment and excellent care to its residents. It has provided me with the peace of mind I was longing to find when my beloved [Removed], could no longer remain at home. To provide further reassurance it is family owned and operated by [Removed] whom actually reside at the facility . They are actively involved in all aspects of the daily care and routine. I am informed of any and all changes in a timely manner. [Removed] is happy and doing well and I am worry free “Happy”. ??

Some of the nicest accommodations and most caring owners and workers I have had the pleasure to meet. Everything is looked after to the smallest detail, from breakfast lunch and diner, to the exercise and brain games. Workers feel more like a family than just being there for the paycheck. I would highly recommend this to anyone that wants more of a resort feel than a care facility.

We are very grateful to have found [Remo ved]. We truly had no idea people like them existed. People who could care for my mother, much better than we could. It's a strange idea and it takes time to accept, but it's true and we had come to a point where we needed to accept the truth. Alzheimer's is one of those diseases that slowly creeps into a family's life and gradually takes a terribly strong hold. I think about it now and it breaks my heart. It breaks my heart that we waited as long as we did. When we moved my mother into Palomino Residential she barely weighed 80 pounds. She was sad, lonely, and ready to call it quits. Today she weighs well over 90 pounds, her skin glows, she has friends, she has hobbies and every time we visit, we ask her if she is happy and her reply is always the same, "I love it here, everyone is so nice to me." Grateful. So very grateful.”

I just fell in love with this community from the moment I walked in. This would have been my first choice, but there was no room available. I love how the have a big backyard that has a beautiful garden for the residents to tend to. The owners which is a husband wife combo are super helpful and very nice.

Palomino Residential Care had a positive atmosphere. I really liked this community for my father. During my tour i got to meet some nice staff. It was a quick tour but i got all my questions answered. There are so many Activities on site and of site that are offered. Complimentary transportation is also available if needed.
