The facilities are old, and no money is spent on new carpet over concrete floors, so cold and dirty flooring in the room.The food has been horrible for old residents who have trouble digesting. The ONLY thing going for the place is the location close to a family member and that the cottages allow for going outside easily. Pacifica Lynnwood has a hard time keeping an activities person.

May 16, 2024We are sorry that the experience at our community is not all that you hoped. Though, we thought that you might mention here, that we are working closely with you and that improvements have been made. We make sure that your mom’s carpets are cleaned in her room every six months. We have a new food services director who is being responsive over resident requests. Your specific request falls under the auspices of resident care, so we are not able to comment due to privacy laws. We plan to continue to work with you closely to make sure that we not only meet but exceed your expectations.
We can communicate with them, but I will be looking for a different place for my loved one eventually. A place farther out that is less expensive. The amount we pay doesn't equal what we get out of it. I would not recommend this facility to others.

April 25, 2024We know that there are many choices for your loved one when looking at senior living communities and we are sorry that you feel as you do now that your loved one is here with us. Please take some time to talk directly with the Executive Director about amenities and care that would make you feel that you are getting your money’s worth. We take the word “care” seriously to do our utmost for our residents. This includes communicating with families on an ongoing basis.
If you want a smaller type community this is the best fit. The food options need to improve and the community activity director has not been replaced for 3 months.

An energetic professional, we are looking forward to seeing a variety of activities and programs starting in April. With regard to our dining program, all of our menus have been pre-approved by a registered dietician, but we encourage residents and families to communicate directly with our dining services manager or with the executive director with their specific food suggestions/comments.

There weren't a lot of activities, but everything else I would give a five we were real happy with the place. The staff did an excellent job. They really seem to care. I would definitely recommend Pacifica Senior Living Lynnwood to others!

The staff went the extra 100 miles for my mom. We had some difficult times, and I don't think we could have made it if it wasn't for the wonderful people at Pacifica. I recommend them highly. They have treated my mom with the utmost kindness and respect, even when she was being a bit of a problem.

The management has good intentions, but the quality of care does unfortunately seem to vary depending on the caregiver on shift. Especially considering that the nurse has assessed our family member as requiring the highest level of care, it doesn't seem like that is what we are actually receiving and that is why I don't think the value for the cost is very good.

October 6, 2023Due to HIPPA rules (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), we are restricted from commenting regarding individual resident care. We can assure you that everyone is receiving the appropriate care with the caveat that each caregiver has their own routine. A general guideline is that, across-the-board, our Memory Care residents receive a check every 2 hours and a change (if needed).
Friendly and very helpful. The menu is mispresented to what the website and their information folder shows. Their food looks like warmed up leftovers most of the time. Housekeeping could be improved (sticky bathroom floor), and stains are not addressed on the carpet when an incident occurs. Activities Director was fantastic- they left recently. Hopefully they will find another with care and enthusiasm like the previous one!! Overall a nice place. They are very good about getting back to you when answering questions and going over care needs, etc...

Our tour at Pacifica Lynnwood was good. We toured at this one as well as another Pacifica in the area, and the seem to be set up differently than most other communities. The have little cottages, which could be really good for some people, and maybe not so good for others. Overall I just didn't get the same good feeling as I did for the place we chose.

There was not enough staff/help for the day to day let alone should there be a situation that requires more help. Staff in the cottages were not attentive to the residents (instead, they were on their phones). This just was not a good fit for my mom. They were not prepared for handling a difficult resident. And she was difficult! They said they were capable, however they were not. We told them exactly what they were up against if they decided to care for my mom and they acted as though this was what they do every day. We have ways to work around difficult issues. We looked to them as the "experts " in the field of dementia. They should not have accepted her because of the care required.

We can say that as a senior living provider, our partnership is with every family who struggles with the declining health of their loved one. While we cannot always estimate how rapidly one declines, we thrive on being able to provide the best care and meet their needs, before suggesting a move to a community that can provide a higher level of care. We apologize if there was no meeting of the minds over your mother’s care.
Pacifica was odd. They had multiple pods. Each pod has a little kitchenette and a small dining room table. There are rooms for about six people in each pod. That's probably nice for memory care but there wasn't an activity room of any kind. They live their whole lives in these little pods. They do small activities in each pod, but I would never put my mother there. I think a facility should be capable of accommodating at least one shared room for activities.

January 11, 2023While our community won’t work for you and your mother; our residents and families that are happy with the cozy environments. Understandably, people should do their research to find a place that fits their lifestyles. Your description is common as a majority of people describe us as a cottage-like community. Each cottage has 10 rooms and can accommodate up to 12 residents. Activities take place in the living room or the full kitchen depending on the type of activity. We wish you well on your continued search.
They were fantastic. Great people from the top down. They really cared about their residents. Unfortunately mom passed while in their care, but even that showed their level of compassion. They were much better than [community name removed]. They had gone downhill while mom was there. And Pacifica was a positive change.

Our family had an in person tour and right when we walked in we knew this was not going to be the place for our loved one, it was a bad experience

January 9, 2023We appreciate when people offer ways for us to improve our services but cannot specifically address what took place during the tour. We are aware that some people do not like the COVID screening at the beginning of our tours but as a Senior Living Provider, we are required to follow the most stringent guidelines for visitors to our community.
I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. The staff are wonderful and warm to the residents and the family. The communication is wonderful with the staff. The community provides three meals a day with snacks available for the residents. There are cabins for the residents to stay with similar care needed for the residents in the cabin. The food is made in one common area, and then delivered to the individual cabins. The activities director left, and they are currently don't have one. They are trying to replace this position and maintain as many activities as possible during the interim. They have music, crafting, bible study, and movies as some of the activities offered.

They are making a bunch of promises that they are not able to follow through with. There are no recreational activities going on whatsoever, our loved one and other residents do nothing but watch TV. The laundry is an issues with clothes getting mixed up. We understand the staffing struggles and it is difficult but we are paying a lot of money for our loved one to taken care of and live here and they cannot even follow through what is on their brochure's.

We had a great tour with them. It is a smaller facility with friendly staff members. It was more expensive and the location was too far for us.
