My father was here from [dates removed]. He had fallen and needed therapy for his fractured hip, along with his Parkinson's we knew that it was going to take some time and it was a long 50 days for him and our family. Let me list some pros and cons of this place. Pros: some of the nurses are very kind, mainly the younger ones. the therapists are very persistent and pushed my father to do therapy when I knew he would have chosen not to. it overall is very clean, and doesn't smell like a nursing home. Cons: after the girls at the front go home expect for the phone to ring for a good 10 minutes before someone answers. the 'charge nurse' who gives the medicine tried shoving it down my dads throat with a spoon when I told her time and time again that he was capable of taking his own medication, that he had all his thinking capabilities. -Overall I do believe that this place is good for some patients but it was mediocre at best for our family. I feel that my father was discharged too early, and the fact that he was a more vocal patient about his wants is one of the factors. Also because of his Parkinson's I feel they gave him the bare minimum when it came to therapy because as I was told, "it's a progressive disease, he's only going to get worse" as if me and my family didn't already know that. But before he fell he was fully independent and able to move/walk/stand/do daily activities by himself.

Hi. Please.please read this. My mother was sent here for rehab BIGGEST MISTAKE OF OUR LIVES. I am sitting in my mom rooms in the.critical care unit for the 6 th day as I tell you.this. my mom has always been most important to us and we didnt research this place enough. My mom went through hell at this place and is now fighting for her life. Forgotten meds, didn't get a cathitar in correct. Didn't record things as required. It took 3 + hours to call a ambulance when she had been bleeding that whole time. Hospital Dr said she was under feed and suffered from dehydration. IF YOU LOVE YOUR LOVED ONE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.........GOD BLESS YOU DURING THIS TIME. IT'S HARD TO MAKE A CHOICE LIKE.THIS JUST RESEARCH YOUR CHOICE.
