They were really great with letting me visit my mom during Covid. I just had to test in the vestibule & I was granted access.

Napa Nazareth is such a great place for my mom! There's more things to do & she can engage socially if she chooses. A good value. Some of the services, like activities are limited, due to COVID. All personnel really seem to care about the patients.

We chose Nazareth Rose Gardens because of the value for the money. He does have a shared room so it is a little crowded but they would rather the residents be out of their rooms during the day. It is always very clean when I go in to visit, there is no urine smell to it. I have been a little bit disappointed in the care, he is missing some of his items and his clothes were soiled. In general for what I am paying, I am satisfied and would recommend to others looking for the most part.

We chose Nazareth Rose Garden because it was the best value for the money and also the facility is in a nice location. The room sizes here are on the smaller side, she has a shared room. If you have a private it is a great size. The staff really helped her get adjusted and they were very open about when she needed to talk to me and were great with redirection. Anytime she is not feeling well, they call and update me immediately on what is going on and what needs to happen. They really have helped me during this time as well and I would definitely recommend to others looking.

I unexpectedly had to put my Mom in a memory care facility. This place was one that was recommended by the Social worker at Kaiser. After checking their reviews, I was confident to put my Mom there. They always kept me updated of any changes in my Mom’s health and did virtual appointments with her doctors as needed. As she started to fade, they again let me know of her health condition. She ended up passing there after 9 months. The sad part is , due to Covid, I couldn’t visit her in person nor were they set up to take phone calls. My Mom was hard of hearing so talking on the phone would have been difficult. If I had lived nearby, I could have talked to her through a window due to Covid restrictions. When I asked them to mail me back a few of her personal items, the didn’t hesitate. I asked for a framed photo, her wallet (with her left over cash) and her Pearl ring. They came through perfectly and returned everything. Impressed with their professionalism and honesty. Feel fortunate to have found this facility for her. Ended up putting her in a shared room and she was so happy with her roommate. I Thank you for all you did. Much appreciated!

I had liscensing get involved ! They were fined ! They are a terrible facility ! They allowed the innocent residents to have scabies for 6 months ( maybe more ) I finally was able to take my mom out of there with scabies but they were being treated from head to toe for 6 weeks straight ! They told loved ones it was a rash they get every year ! All the residents who sit close together were scratching and scratching ! That’s abuse ! That’s just one incident ! I called A place for mom 2 times after I took my mom out there ! Telling you how horrifying it is there ! I trusted you when you suggested me take my mom there ! Maybe you should read all the complaints against them At liscensing ! Please stop endorsing them ! They also had the district attorney trying to file charges on 2 men attendants there . A man passed away and he has bruises ALL of his body ! Shame on you if you don’t look Into this facility !

We chose this because it is perfect for my mom and it's close to my home. They have a lovely Internal closed courtyard so the residents can freely flow in and out. My mother doesn't care for the food, but she loves breakfast. Anytime you want to do anything, they are all really helpful. It is a no frills community but the staff are all helpful and they are really good to the residents. My mom is so happy there and she likes her room. I couldn't be happier.

It seems to be a nice community and, so far, the care is good. We had a deadline to meet, and had to find a placement pretty quick, this community was the best and most cost effective we could find. This is the third facility my aunt has been in in the last year, and she seems to really be fitting in. She has become more outgoing and upbeat since moving in. She is meeting new people and communicating with other residents, and I really like that for her.

One of the first things that pleased me with Nazareth Rose Garden was not the immaculately maintained gardens and surroundings and spotlessly clean rooms nor the efficient and competent infirmary staff. What impressed me immediately was the friendly, courteous attitude of everyone I met there, from the directress to the maintenance staff. Everyone was friendly and greeted me with a smiley face and a cheery hello. It makes a big difference to be surrounded by cheery, pleasant people.

My wife and I took care of my Dad (in our home) for seven years. As his dementia progressed to Alzheimer's we got helpers to come in for his care when we were at work. We had very good luck with [removed]. Both with their Medminder program, and their staff. But, eventually Dad just required more than we could handle at home. We looked at several local "homes", but they were horrific, and wildly expensive. Many of the staff we spoke with knew less about dementia than we did, and they had additional charges, for someone to "come in" and work with the patients. "A Place for Mom" was really helpful in sorting our options and recommended Nazareth Rose Gardens, Napa. Our first visit, we went on a Saturday. Spoke with [name removed] and [name removed], and [name removed] gave us the nickel tour. The atmosphere just seemed friendly and warm. The staff knew at least as much about dementia as we did, the menu looked like something I would eat, the price was very reasonable compared to other facilities we had considered, the hallways and atrium's are perfect for Dad to get his walks. When we spoke with [name removed] it was a lock. [Name removed] is the executive director for Nazareth Rose Garden Napa, and she is a gem! Clearly sets the tone for the staff. Dad has been there almost three months now (Hospice had given him two weeks his last hospital visit). He still has Alzheimers and the future is still pretty bleak, but we are so happy to have found a partner in his care who we can like and trust. He is getting better care than we could provide at home and it shows.

Nazareth Rose Garden was the perfect place to send our father with advanced dementia. He was treated with respect, and understanding during the troubling sundowning moments. He was always well kept and clean. The facility reminded us of home with a large common area for everyone to mingle. The food looked good and our dad had no complaints. I highly recommend this facility for memory care.

The initial impressions I got here was very good and I the food is great too. Every time I’ve visited my Father, the med tech seems to be on top of things and very responsive. It’s a clean community and the activities seem to be pretty good. My dad moved from a pretty high-end facility and he is having a hard time settling in. Overall we are very pleased with the level of care and the attitude and responsiveness of the staff. I would recommend this facility to other families.

I recently had to place my mom here. I had no idea about cost factors, so the monthly fee was a bit of a shock. They are reasonable now that I have priced other places. They are clean, always have something going. Food is good. My mom is treated very well. We moved her into a private room when one opened up. More like home.

Visited twice. This facility is a mix of AL and memory care. A much better fit for my mother at this stage. This would be my first pick of Napa facilities. But she could only afford a few years here before her money runs out. Have shifted focus to a WI search.

This is a sterile and hospital-like community. It is good but I wish the staff would improve on the communication. I would like to see more forthcoming status for my mother-in-law. I have no concerns about the cleanliness of the facility. They staff are helpful and nice. My mother-in-law likes the activities provided. I would recommend this place.

My mother is fitting in here at this community pretty well. We haven't gone to visit her yet, the director suggested we wait a few weeks before we visit. It is a nice looking community, from what I saw everything looked nice and clean. The staff is very helpful, they made the transitional process pretty smooth. A place for mom was great with all the help they provided. So far I'am comfortable with the care they will be providing her.

This is the second time I used "A Place for Mom" Both experiences have been great. Charlie Wolf was first to contact and to follow up with me. After visiting several places I picked the Rose Garden. It is small, clean and very friendly caring environment. Marisol and Janice have gone out their way to make the transition for my Mom smooth and painless. They don't miss a beat. I like most of the employees have been there for sometime. That told me something . For the first in a long I have not had to worry about Mom.
