Mom did really well at Morrow Heights . She fit right in and made a lot of friends. We ended up moving away from there though and moved back to Washington state. We now reside in Wenatchee Washington. My mom lives with my sister and we live right next-door so we can share care. She is getting great medical care here and she loves it here. She is around more family members. Down there in southern Oregon at Morrow Heights I was the only family member besides my husband so here she has grandkids, great grandkids and nieces that she gets to see, plus were closer to be able to take her to see her 96-year-old sister.... Response from Morrow Heights Assisted Living
June 11, 2024It's wonderful to hear that your mom thrived at Morrow Heights and made lasting connections. We're glad she's found a supportive environment closer to family in Wenatchee, Washington. It's heartwarming to know she's surrounded by loved ones and receiving excellent medical care. If there's ever anything we can assist with, even from afar, please don't hesitate to reach out. Wishing your family continued happiness and wellbeing in your new home!
We love the staff there! And the apartments are a nice size. It was close, and we know people who have lived there before and loved it. I would say go for it! It's a beautiful place, it's clean, it smells good, and the residents are well taken care of. And the staff also help with the resident's pets which is awesome.

Response from Morrow Heights Assisted Living
June 28, 2023Hi! We're so happy to hear about your positive experience at Morrow Heights Assisted Living. Thank you for the review!
If you need a sitter, the caregivers are nice, & do a decent job. If, however, you need post-OP care, diabetes care, or edema management...STAY AWAY!! The menu is deplorable- full of carbs & sodium- and their "available alternatives" are not better. Seriously, an elementary school has better nutrition. Because of their "Care", my family member moved in as a level 3, and less than 3 months was a level 5+ with 2 ER visits & one urgent care visit under his belt, for things they could've either prevented or managed themselves. And of course our rent went up for their lack of care. The RN is very good at documenting issues after they happen & bossing caregivers around, not caring for or even touching residents. Trying to get the administration to see residents as real people with the need of loving help & common sense consideration will be met with rules, regulations, and excuses for why they won't do their job & it will all be candy coated in lots of PC language. PLEASE LOOK ELSEWHERE!!

If you are looking for a place for one of your loved ones to be cared for, I highly recommend meeting Pam and her staff. They take great pride in taking care of all the details to keep your family happy, safe and comfortable.

Response from Morrow Heights Assisted Living
September 10, 2019Thank you so much, Rodney! Your kind words mean a lot to our team.
My aunt, mother in law, and mother have lived at Morrow Heights over the past five years. They have always been treated with respect and loving kindness by the staff and management. There are lots of fun and interesting activities and trips, as well as special dinners for family and friends. Everything is always clean, neat and warm & inviting - very homey! I love it and am grateful to have it in our community.

Cannot justify the $225 per month increase. The staff is great but no matter how dedicated they are, corporate gives the facility a big black eye with their greed. Corporate = 1 star Staff = 5 stars

The team at Morrow Heights is phenomenal and I can't thank them enough for the excellent care they provide to my mom. It's not easy when you realize that a family member can no longer take care of themselves. This transition was made easier knowing that she is in such a safe environment. To be honest, my mom can be a little ornery and the staff is always VERY respectful to her despite this - Thank you!

My mother and step father are residents here and are currently considering relocating. They are extremely dissatisfied with the frequent squabbles between the higher-up employees and Terry's (the manager) inability to control this, and they are unhappy that some employees are consistently late for work. They find both of these things very disrespectful especially since they pay a substantial sum to reside there. They find the food to be of mediocre quality and claim the caretakers and generally pleasant but find the squabbles and the employees' lack of work ethic to overshadow the good qualities.

A Place for Mom has scored Morrow Heights Assisted Living 8 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
