Before Covid I really liked this community. Now the new people that have taken over don't make me as happy. They are a little less caring and pushy on certain stuff. A lot of new people to get used to now.
I would highly recommend this community for your loved one. This was one of the most reasonable. My loved one raved about the food, and enjoyed being here. I believe this is a family owned community.

Our Mom lives at Oak Lane and loves it. All the employees are great, caring, helpful and just all around great. She is very well cared for. The facility is well taken care of. Highly recommend to anyone needing to place someone they love.

I love the feeling of community at Oak Lane. It has been a very good experience for me and for my loved one so far. The personnel are very helpful and very attentive to my loved one's needs, and the spirit of the community is very comforting. I like that the residents are kept very busy with the activities they offer. The food here is fine, but my loved one does wish they offered more fresh vegetables at mealtimes. Oak Lane is also an older facility, so they could use a good update, but they still do a nice job keeping it clean and tidy. I would recommend Oak Lane to others.

My father-in-law was here for about 3 weeks and there is room for improvement. He was on the independant living side. We felt he was safer to be there than at home. The food was OK he was at the point where he wasn't eating and just had them bring him the food and there was an extra charge for that to happen. The day he passed my daughter was there and she pulled the cord for help and no one came so she went looking for help. I would recommend this place to friends or family.

My father in law has only recently moved into Oak Lane community and he is still getting acclimated. The atmosphere is warm and homey and the staff is very welcoming when we come and visit. The staff is friendly and caring and attentive to his care needs. The meals that they provide are good. There are plenty of activities that the staff encourages the residents to participate. So far he has not been inclined to participate in many of them. They have decks on the upper level and patios on the ground level so that the residents can get out and enjoy the fresh air. This was a good fit and affordable for our budget.

Nothing was wrong when we toured this community. All that we saw was pretty nice. My parents however, did not want to be in a small apartment. They felt they would be confined and there was not enough space for two residents living together.

Facility is smaller, not as open, and therefore seems more depressing. Pricing is reasonable.

We have great communication with the staff at Oaklane. They call it a family and that is exactly what it feels like. They talk to each other and are open to talking. They are pet friendly and this is good for my mom. They offer numerous activities such as tea parties, arts and crafts and sit and fit 3 times a week. The food is a low salt diet that looks to be prepared fresh and there are a variety of choices. They listen to me and take my suggestions.

My mom needed to be in a memory care unit and went downhill really quick at Oaklane, so she is no longer there, but I have nothing but good things to say about them. They were incredibly friendly and very helpful and will be lifelong friends.

Walking into Oak Lane is like visiting family. You are greeted with hugs and smiles. The community smells clean, and you usually smell fresh baking from the kitchen. The activities program is the best I've ever seen with a variety of things to do at all times. The care staff have been at there for a long time and know their residents and families well. You couldn't ask for a better home-like setting. My father lived at Oaklane for six wonderful years and their team gave me the greatest gift...Peace of Mind and quality time with my father. Thank you Oak Lane
