Heritage corner

Monmouth Crossing is the absolute best facility to place your elder parents in that you’re not able to care for anymore. The people here are so caring and compassionate and friendly. You couldn’t ask for anything more. Mom is crossing is so clean. There are no odors that you expect from a nursing facility at all there’s always activities going on, so they always have something to engage in. The food is extremely delicious and if they don’t like something they’re always offered something else. This is definitely the place to be I wouldn’t go anywhere else..

Friendly and Engaging activities at Monmouth Crossing

My Dad moved in at the beginning of the year, and each month we are very pleased with the variety of activities and events that the Activities Director plans which include physical ones - Exercise and Zumba classes; creative ones - Art, painting, cooking, gardening; social ones- Musical entertainment, Men’s Club, Women’s Socials; and stimulating ones with visiting lectures and events. The staff are friendly and genuinely interact with the residents, doing their best to have each resident engaged either in a group or in an individual setting, depending on the needs and interests of the resident. During nice weather, activities are held in their beautiful garden. Residents can choose to spend time outdoors to enjoy the peaceful koi pond. Overall, my Dad at 98 yrs old has many activity choices. He enjoys seeing other residents and the happy friendly staff who provide encouragement and assistance each day. Many thanks to Monmouth Crossing!

Bingo is my favorite activity

There are many activities offered at Monmouth Crossing and The Dime Bingo is my favorite one. At my young age of 97 I do not participate in too many activities but the staff always encourages me to keep active. Monmouth Crossing has been a perfect fit for my needs and the staff is the best. When my daughter found this community a few years ago I was hesitant to leave my independent senior community but Monmouth Crossing was a very welcoming community and I have been happy here for a number of years.

Everyone one on staff has gone over and beyond their service !!!!

From my very first telephone call it was very comforting to know my mom would be very well taken care of. However , I had know idea on how far the staff would actually go. They have gone over and beyond what I could have ever imagined. I am truly able to sleep at night knowing she is in the greatest of care. The open communication is wonderful. I do let everyone know how much I highly recommend Monmouth Crossing. Thank you to all staff members,

Magnificent

Great place to have a loved senior citizen reside. The staff is great, friendly and caring. Beautiful dining room for everyone. My mom resides there and she loves all the activities they have to offer. They try to keep all the residents busy during the day with Bingo, Pokeno, arts and crafts, entertainment such as singers, performers and outdoor activities (weather permitting). The list goes on and on and my mom loves it.

Over 15 years of satisfaction

My sister has been a resident at Monmouth Crossing Assisted Living for over 15 years. She has always been very happy there. She has received the best of care. We have always been notified immediately of any changes or problems. She enjoys the food and is given a choice if she wants something other than what is on the menu. The facility is clean and beautifully decorated. All of the administrative, nursing, kitchen, housekeeping and other staff are helpful and accommodating. My wife and I think that having my sister at Monmouth Crossing has been a very good decision. Monmouth Crossing deserves this award for their outstanding service.

Couldn’t be Happier

Mom is coming from a facility where they microwaved the food. She was there about 3 months and would only eat what I brought her. Now since being at Monmouth Crossing she eats 3 meals a day happily. If she doesn’t like what’s on the menu they have an always available all day menu which has a ton of everyone’s faves. Monmouth Crossing is so accommodating to even the pickiest of eaters. She truly enjoys the food. Since I am reviewing the food I will jump to the staff. They are caring warm people. They know everyone’s names, there likes and dislikes. What they need and require. I have such peace of mind with mom being here. A feeling I haven’t felt in a very long time. Mom and our family are very lucky to have mom here. She smiles now and everyday more and more. Everything is always clean and never smells like other places I have visited. Definitely ?? ??. Thank you to all.

The Best Place for MOM

My sister actually found Monmouth Crossings and at first I was against moving her into an assisted living community, but I can say it has been the best decision ever. My mom has been happy and healthy over the past couple of years and considering all that has gone on with Covid, I am thrilled that she is thriving in her assisted living community and calls it home

1st impressions

I recently came to Monmouth Crossing to see the facility as a new client had just moved-in. From initial contact, the staff I have interacted with have been pleasant and professional. In my tour the building was clean, my client neatly dressed and neat in appearance. His apartment was neat and organized. I can't tell you how pleased that made me with all I had seen, I would have to expect a positive experience will be had by the client. Look forward to future interactions and I would certainly recommend them based on my prior experience with other facilities.

Our tour experience

We were able to have an in person tour with Monmouth and even though we don't not much about this community it was still a really nice tour. We decided to go with another community though because they offered a better price.

Our tour experience

Our family was able to have an in person tour and it was very nice. We checked out the memory care unit and it almost seemed more like cottages. It was smaller so offered more care and attentive, the rooms were set up in a central location right by the dining area and living area. They also have an enclosed outside area, but we did not choose this community because they require 2 years of private pay.

A great choice

We chose Monmouth Crossing Assisted Living because my mom is in assisted living and they also have nursing care in a different building across the street. Since they offer all levels of care, we could keep her within the same company if she ever needs more care. The room sizes here are adequate for her needs, bigger than some other places we saw. The food looked a lot better before covid, but I think with covid going on they have had to do things differently. The best part about the community has been the smaller group setting, so better 1 on 1 care. I would recommend.

Refresh, Relax and Respite

For the past several months my Sister and I have been caring for our Dad. We had a vacation planned last month and honestly, we had thought that we would have to cancel. A friend of mine told me to check out Monmouth Crossing for respite care. From the moment my Dad and I stepped into the building we felt at home. While the facility is beautiful and the food is great, it truly was the people and the care that they provided that surpassed our greatest expectations. From the Administrator, [name removed] to the attentive aides who cared for him each day, it is evident that they have a heart to serve. This set our minds completely at ease as we were able to have time away to refresh and relax. Thank you, Monmouth Crossing!

Stay away

There has been a change with senior management which makes this a less thsn desire able place to live out your life. The food has gone down hill, no activities on the weekends, short on staff, uncaring management. My mother in law was asked not to return after a hospital stay because her diapers required more frequent changes and she was no longer able to manage. You people should be ashamed. Hello Mr. Waserstein, We at Monmouth Crossing are so very sorry to hear about your mother-in-law. We have not had a recent change in management, which leads us to believe you may have inadvertently confused us with another facility that has a similar name. We work very hard to make sure that our residents are treated with the utmost respect and care. Please contact our Administrator, Heleyne Gladstein, at [removed] at your earliest convenience so that we may get more details from you. Thank you. Heleyne Gladstein Monmouth Crossing
