The Best CARE EVER!

I only have good things to say about Magnolia Manor in Lutz, FL. The staff, the facility, and the folks who come in to provide entertainment and support are absolutely the BEST! I transferred my elderly sister to Magnolia Manor after a very bad experience at another facility. Unfortunately, she was only at Magnolia for about a month before passing, but I truly believe she was given the care that far exceeded the other Assisted Living Facility had given her in the past year. The staff there are so gracious and caring while working very hard in all efforts to provide excellent general support things, hygiene care and to provide a very safe and happy environment. When my sister started failing the care was beyond my expectations. The owner, [name removed], and Care Coordinator, [name removed] were so helpful in walking me through what needed to be done during this very difficult time. I highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a facility in the Tampa Bay area.

Community Tour

Our tour at Magnolia Manor was fine. The people seemed very kind. Cleanliness was not as great as the palace we chose, and the location was not as convenient for our family. Also, the parking area was small, and the facility was not as modern.

Wonderful place with great caring staff.

They have been amazing. Everybody is so friendly. They just remodeled, so everything is super on top. Everything is perfect. All the rooms are gorgeous. The staff have been amazing. I haven't tried the food, but it smells great. There are all sorts of activities - chair yoga, chair exercises, bingo, sing-alongs, arts and crafts. When they were on lockdown and closed down, they even took the residents out for rides.

My mother is very happy at Magnolia Manor. She never thought she would be...but she loves it here. I am so relieved to have the help and good care and not feel alone in her caregiving. Best thing to happen for us both!

Attentive quality care

The residents are kept extremely busy with the activities during the days and we have been very happy with the value for cost so far. It is a small enough facility so the staff are really personally involved with the residents and that to us makes a big difference.

EXCELLENT SERVICE AND FACILITY!!

I tour many ALF's Facilities with my Family, looking for the right one for my 91 year old mother. The minute we stepped in we got an amazing welcoming from the front desk person! We were so impressed by how warming, nice and beautiful looking this Facility was. They just remodeled the entire Facility and we love the colors and the room are so spacious. I placed my mother here and we are more than Happy with service from the Caregivers and from the Executive Director [name removed]. I absolutely LOVE MAGNOLIA MANOR!!! If you are looking for a ALF looked for Magnolia Manor!

Our Tour Experience

When we toured, they were In the middle of a renovation. My first impression was a really bad one because even in the areas where the work was done, there were tripping hazards. I myself tripped when I was there, which makes me concerned for less-abled residents. The workmanship wasn’t very good, which isn't necessarily their fault, but kind of gave me the impression they would go with the lowest bidder over quality.

The community was very good. A smaller community, which we liked because they could really cater to our specific needs. Always very clean. The staff was pretty professional, we never saw or had anything negative happen with the staff. No complaints about the food! They cook everything basically from scratch.

Tour for a friend

We toured this community. We were happy with the caring staff that could answer the questions on the care that is received. The community is clean and they have a nice dining area. The residents were offer activities. This is a small community and we wanted something a little bigger. We would suggest this community to other families for the care of a loved one with a good value.

Nurse picks Magnolia Manor for Uncle

I placed my uncle at Magnolia Manor after we took a tour with Barbara ,the Chief Executive Officer. Barbara invited us to stay for lunch, and we did. We had some delicious homemade eggplant Parmesan. That sold my Uncle. We both found Magnolia Manor had all the qualities and activities we were looking for. He has been there 3 mos. and is very happy. He has a lovely room that is bright and cheery, plenty of activities to keep him busy, a friendly and caring staff, and delicious homemade food Picking Magnolia Manor was a no brainier.

BEAUTIFUL, COMFORTABLE, HOSPITABLE, CARING AND PROFESSIONAL,

My uncle Eddie has been in this facility for a number of years. I live in the Midwest and had not been able to visit prior to this last weekend. Upon arriving at this beautiful building, I was extremely impressed by the cleanliness and comfort of this assisted living home. I found all of the staff to be very kind, loving and caring to my uncle who is suffering from Parkinson's. The facility has quite of few different areas where the residents and their families can visit and spend time talking about old times. I must say that I was extremely impressed with how well decorated the facility is and how tastefully appointed the various areas are. It is possible to sit in rocking chairs in the front of the building, relax in the front sitting area, or even relax in the gorgeous screened in lanai. The second time that I went to go visit my uncle, I had the pleasure of meeting Barbara and Robin. I did not know who they were but they were beyond accommodating and welcoming! I later found out that they were the Executive Director of the Facility and the President! May God Bless these ladies for providing such a warm and loving environment for the residents to live in peace and harmony til the end of their lives. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE to anyone!

Love Magnolia Manor!

I have found Magnolia Manor to be everything it claims to be. It is always clean. Any concern I have about my mother is quickly addressed. Staff is always available and well trained. The food is truly home cooked. I eat with my mother at least once a week. My mom has been at Magnolia Manor since it opened and I would have her at no other facility. Robbin is a true professional and very good at her job. Barbara is there because she wants to be there and truly cares about each and every resident and their family. I am sure you cannot please everyone, but they sure try. Would highly recommend Magnolia Manor.

It seems like they have done everything pretty well at Magnolia Manor. I do not have any complaints about the place at all. My mom of course does not want to be there, but she doesn't have any complaints and she thinks it's a nice place.

Get her out of here

My mother Mary who was born in 1917, is a lovely, lively, energetic woman with pretty much full mental capacity but she is visually impaired, has arthritis in hands, is incontinent and in a wheelchair. Mary went to Magnolia Manor two days a week for day care for over a year. The staff at Magnolia Manor alway seemed friendly and was not the issue. Mary’s complaints were always the same, they do little if anything to engage people there, like exercise or activities and the food, Magnolia Manor’s add says home cooked food, it isn’t and most times not even warn sometimes still frozen in the middle. My complaint was no one helped her most times when she went to the bathroom, soon after getting home after each visit to Magnolia Manor I would take her to the bathroom and either the pull-ups and sometimes her pants were not pulled up to even cover the crack of her behind. I would ask Mary if there was someone to help you to the bathroom, she would make excuses for why no one was available to help her, also in the bathroom they don’t even have a permanent alarm in place to call for help. With mom’s limitations it just is not safe for her to go to the bathroom by herself. I called numerous times about the bathroom but nothing changed, I even had Mary’s insurance company call Magnolia Manor because of these unsafe practices. Barbara and her daughter Robbin rarely returned phone calls and mostly acted like they didn’t care. [removed]
