Its a Nice place To Live. I have lived at New port Richey Center for a Year and a half. I get to have my little dog. They saved me from a nasty place, I lived at before here. If you can't live at home. This is the place to be. I would not Change my life now for the world.

The staff seems friendly but be don't be fooled! They promise what you hope to hear for your loved one but it's all false! The med tech and kitchen manager act like drill sergeants, treating your loved ones like they are not worthy of their time. The place is dirty! Management is tremendouslu lacking!!

This place is a converted church and school. The rooms are a good size with some built in furniture. Each room has a bathroom and shower. All rooms are the same size. This place would be nicer if they covered some of the tiled floors with carpet. It has a large activity room. The staff was friendly and the residents we met seemed happy and satisfied. It had a nice dining room. At $4900 it was an affordable choice.

Overall I think they've done a great job at Summit at New Port Richey! The staff have all been very friendly, and I know many of them by their first names already! They made the move-in process smooth and pleasant, and do a great job looking after my loved one! The one thing that disappoints me is the food. They said they offered a low salt/low fat diet, but from what I have seen that isn't really the case. They also don't serve many fresh fruits and vegetables.

I would not recommend this place to anyone I hope they close it down for the residents sakes. Chose this facility under false pretenses and quickly removed my family member within 2 wks. I believe they care more about $$$$ than the residents
