Lorien Bel Air

The staff was very nice, but this is an assisted living facility. My dad needed more help than they could provide. He fell multiple times a day, and had dementia so he couldn’t remember to press the call button. His acuity was too high for this facility. He passed away in the facility.

I wanted to express my heartfelt gratitude for the exceptional care provided to my gmom during her time at Lorien Bel Air. The compassion, kindness, and professionalism demonstrated by the entire staff were truly remarkable. From the moment she arrived, it was clear that her well-being and comfort were top priority. What sets Lorien Bel Air apart is the genuine concern and dedication of the caregivers. Every staff member, from the nurses & aides, dining & activities teams, laundry & maintenance staff, treated my gmom with respect & dignity. They took the time to get to know her as an individual, learning about her preferences and interests. The compassion and support extended to both my gmom and our family were immeasurable. The care and kindness shown in her final days is something we will always be grateful for. Thank you to the entire Lorien Bel Air team for all that you do! While losing a loved one is never easy, knowing she was in such capable & caring hands brings us comfort.

Positive, friendly, comprehensive, communicative. The caregivers and staff are very nice! However there always seems to be a shortage of caregivers.

It was one of the best places I visited. Very spacious. People were friendly. If your mom or dad has dementia they will likely need more help than what the staff can provide. I chose it because of my mom ran out of funds, they accepted Medicare/Medicaid. All assisted living locations are expensive.

We used Lorien Bel Air for a respite stay for my loved one and everything about our experience at this facility was great. The housekeeping was very efficient. The move in and move out process was easy. The cleanliness, friendliness, care services and staff were great. Communication with the family was a challenge. Overall, I would recommend Lorien Bel Air.

My mother enjoyed herself interacting with the residents and staff. I would recommend it as a great place for mom or a love one who needs assistance. We picked this community, because I seen it advertised, research on computer and a tour, liked what we saw.

The staff is good to very good. Only had one bad apple. I think that is very good! Compared to the last place I lived, the food is better quality as well as the cooking of the food. You can be as busy as you want here or solitary as you please. As for the Value for Cost, there are too many extras that add up quickly. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

It has been a fantastic experience. The staff are so friendly and truly care for the residents. I have been very pleased with the room size. My mother seems happy there. I would recommend to others, as long as they can afford it. I have been very pleased.

Clean, private rooms and bath, nice activities, excellent food service, good care, and 24 hour access. Billing has been a bit slow, but the department was in transition. New staff seems to be on the ball. The staff is quite good. Kind, helpful and respectful. [name removed] in Activities and [name removed] in Transportation are especially helpful. Activities are somewhat less than usual due to a COVID outbreak, but picking up again. My mom loves Bingo. Housekeeping is pretty good. They keep up well. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

This facility is good. Right now they're having some issues with Dining Room staffing, they're short handed. It seems disorganized, but they're looking for someone to hire to run the Dining Room. The food quality is down a bit, also. Other than that, things are going very good and my mom has been very happy here. Overall, the staff are very friendly and interactive. They've had to hire a lot of new people, but it's been fine. Housekeeping is once a week and is good. Communication with the family has been good also. I would recommend them to family and friends.

My dads room was filthy. He had dementia and dropped food. They didn't clean up blood in the bathroom. They were short staffed and in reality he was too acute for assisted living. They are not suited to handle memory care.

So far the experience with Lorien Bel Air has been pretty good - the reasons we picked this community is because they have more men there for our loved one that what other communities had. We like that it is a bigger community so it gives our loved one more chances to get up and walk around and socialize more. It also is really close to our family which is very convenient.

I just want to commend the kitchen staff today for an excellent, well-prepared, lunch. It was tasty and delicious and an excellent meal. That is not always the case, so I just wanted you to know that you’ve outdone yourselves. I really appreciate it. Thanks..

My mom is there and she is extremely happy; she gets the best care. The socialization and all the activities they provide for residents is wonderful. The meals are outstanding, I'm quite jealous actually. I would highly recommend Lorien Bel Air for anyone looking for assisted living for a parent.

Lovely facility with very large units. All units include kitchenettes. Walls seem well insulated without much sound travel. Nice dining room with menu choices. Lots of activities and entertainment options.

We chose Lorien Bel Air because of the location, the cleanliness of the facility, and the availability. Also, the rooms were newer construction. The room sizes were generous compared to some others we saw. She said the food here was average. The best part about the community was the newness of the rooms, it felt very updated and had a homey feel. Overall, I would recommend to others.

The staff at the Lorien of Bel Air was very helpful with assisting my family with all the procedures and preparations required for getting my father ready for his entry into Assisted Living at their facility. This was no easy feat during a pandemic, but their professionalism made it as painless as possible. They were patient and thorough with answering all our many questions and concerns while making this difficult decision for our loved one. I feel confident that we have chosen the right facility for our Dad to ensure he receives the best care and will have the best quality of life possible.

The outstanding professional, compassionate care my family and I are receiving from The Lorien Bel Air rehab and now assisted living should be recognized. My aunt's health has been declining as she moved from rehab to assisted living. It has been extremely challenging during the COVID-19 epidemic. Also, my aunt has been very resistant to the changes. [Name removed] and staff have gone above and beyond to move her to her current room and routine. She continues to provide my aunt and me support and guidance. I would also like to recognize the work of rehab lead, [name removed], and her staff, the doctor, nurses, activities staff, and dieticians. I thank you all. God bless!
