They provide a foot doctor, as well as a primary care doctor that is on call and visits the residents when needed. Some activities they have are bingo, arts and crafts, a person that comes in and provides music entertainment, they also provide church services once a week. The have different sized rooms. My parents are in a 22 X 20 room. They have two nice windows in it. They also provide the bedding to the residents. Some of the rooms have a bathroom inside. For those who don't have a bathroom in their room, it would be right down the hall. The food kind of reminds us of hospital food, but overall pretty good. The food is well prepared. They give different options to those residents who don't like the food they are serving that day. We liked the way it looked and they way it smelled. It always smelled good there. Its very pretty in the lobby, there is a lot of decorations. Somewhat upper class decorations. The residents can also walk out to a big patio area with tables and benches.... Read more

Thank you all so very much for everything you did to make my Mom's stay as comfortable and pleasant in every way. You all looked after her with lot of love, patience and care. I want to especially thank you for making us as comfortable and accommodating in her final days. I know we were there late at night, stayed over and all day visits so we could be there with Mom and you all could not have been any nicer in looking out for us. She was so lucky to have such a fine bunch of ladies and gentlemen looking out for her. Thanks again for everything. Your kind and caring ways will always be remembered and appreciated. You all have hearts of gold.

We moved my Dad into Hart Heritage yesterday and we have been overwhelmed by the support of the caring staff. The Marketing Director, [name removed], has gone above and beyond to help us get Dad transferred and was amazing when we had to jump through hoops to get a specialty medication approved. The nursing staff is available and attentive. His Caregivers on all shifts have fussed over him like he's a family member. The dietary specialists make sure he eats. The building is modern and impeccably clean. Every effort is taken to make sure the residents are comfortable and safe. We are looking forward to long relationship with these lovely people.

My mother has been at Hart Heritage for around a year now, and our family is very happy with the care and support mom receives here. The staff is courteous, professional, and caring. The facility is clean overall and moms room is well maintained. We always have a family member with mom at least three times a week. Mom is 91 and they treat her very well and include her in daily activities. She eats pretty good for her age. Her health is looked after by the nurses and they answer any questions we have and they show us they care. I like that they try to provide a well rounded activity for the residents, We receive a newsletter and the family is asked for any input to the both the newsletter and activities. Mom loves the bingo and the rosary meeting that is offered. Our family would definitely recommend this facility for an elderly family member. The staff in the dining area and kitchen are very friendly and look after mom if she is not eating, they have even substituted a meal if she did not like what they were serving. The maintenance staff is also good. I also love housekeeping once my mom s blanket was missing and housekeeping searched another floor and they found it. No big thing but they showed they cared.

The care givers at Hart Heritage are compassionate, caring and professional. Hart provides an environment that feels more a family atmosphere than institutional. The staff is friendly and caring. The facility and rooms are kept very clean. The food was very good. Hart is set in a peaceful suburban setting that makes it pleasant. On the financial side, Hart was very clear and did not try to charge for “extra” services. It was easy to reach and talk to the Hart team. Overall, my family and I all agreed that Hart provided excellent care for my Mom.

My father has been at Hart Heritage for about 18 months now and we just love it. The staff has been fairly consistent throughout his stay and all of the employees seem to enjoy their work and their residents. my father, has no dementia, also tells me how much he enjoys everyone. He is thriving and enjoying life (this was not the case where he started at another facility) For those with loved ones having dementia, Hart Heritage staff treats them with the utmost of respect and does their best to provide them with a quality of life no matter what their condition. Many choices of activities too, for those who wish to participate, bingo, pets on wheels, visiting library, movie days and more. Talk to [name removed] to inquire more. It was the best choice we could have made!

My Mother has been a resident for 16 months at Hart Heritage Forest Hills. She is in a place that is beautiful, clean, safe an very well cared for. The staff is kind and treat her with respect and love. I know she is safe and well cared for and that takes a lot of worry off me. She gets her hair done weekly in the beauty shop They also have a room available for celebrations for families which we have used on several occasions. This is a great place . The staff treats us as family and we appreciate it every day.

My Mom has been @ Hart Heritage for a little over 3 years & is nearing the end of her life. The staff has been great with her - from the front desk staff to the aides, the RN's, the kitchen staff, the housekeeping staff, maintenance, the activities director & all those behind the scenes. I will miss everyone when I no longer "have to visit my Mom." My Mom no longer wants to leave the "girls" who make sure her needs are met such taking her to the bathroom or making sure that her hair is done by the hairdresser who is phenomenal with everyone's needs/ desires. I am one of my Mom's 5 children & we are all pleased with her room, the other residents, the building & grounds and feel the cost is approprite. One of my brothers manages group homes throughout the U.S. & he feels that Hart Heritage meets my Mom's physical & mental needs (she has dementia & has had strokes). Our entire extended family has been welcomed by the staff whether it was a holday celebration or just a routine visit. It's not easy to move a loved one from their home but it's the next best thing to home.

Hart Heritage, Nursing & Support Staff: I just want to say "thank you" for all your help in taking care of my husband, [name removed]. His last days since his final stroke and the care given him was outstanding! Changing his room and allowing me to sleep there and be with him was extremely helpful.

Personally, I liked this location, but my mother did not. I liked how it felt like a family. My mother felt that there was a lack of privacy.
