Mom came here seven months ago from another independent facility where the people, rules and general atmosphere were much less desirable. She loves Las Palmas and the people here. Staff acts like family and are responsive. The food is good, the grounds have beautiful trees and walking paths with a big lake in back. There are lots of activities, games, exercise, chair volleyball , chapel, salon and endless opportunity to interact with the friendly residents if you desire. When we went to tour, we really liked [name removed]. She was amazing and was very welcoming to my aunt. She showed us around and answered all of our questions. It seems like a really good place. The apartments are perfect for my aunt, just what she needed to downsize from her own home. They have lots of activities. We're not disappointed at all. Really the only issue has been their inability to provide food in line with her dietary restrictions. Anybody who is a vegetarian would have the same problem.

I am very impressed with this property. My brother just moved here and all his needs are met with A plus service. The staff is kind, caring, and friendly. Where I am no longer able to live by myself . I would love to live here.
I am glad to be here. I appreciate the management and the activities. The cleaners and servers do an excellent job. I miss our assistant manager his that was the best that ever related to the residents I ever encountered. Resented having $100 stole in October. Renewal date is [date removed] not [date removed].
Very welcoming atmosphere . Staff is friendly-caring and kind. Everyone friendly and helpful. Very clean-safe and comfy. The food and service are five stars.

I lived here 2 1/2 yrs at this time I am very satisfied. We have a wonderful staff hard working people.
It's a good place. If you need somebody in your family to go in there, I would recommend them. It's well kept. There's plenty of activities. And they're fed very well.
The location of Las Palmas is really good. They do provide transportation to local shopping on a scheduled basis which is very nice. The value for the money is excellent. My friend who is here seems to be happy and I would recommend them to others looking.

We chose Las Palmas because of the proximity to my house, the space that the cottages provided, and the location is very convenient and close to a lot of places with a pretty surrounding area. The sales person was the nicest and most attentive out of the places that we looked into. She was warm and friendly from the second that we walked in here. The food is not good at all, the variety on the menu is not very healthy. They serve things like hot dogs, fries, sandwiches, etc. It would be better if they provided healthier options for the residents. They have a lot of options for activities available and they have a swimming pool which is very nice. I would recommend to others looking with the caveat about the food.

We chose this facility because we liked the location and after the tour we thought it would be a great fit for her. The room sizes here are decent. I would want other to know that they give a nice tour and sell you something different than what you will receive such as the pool was broken, the bus, the food, etc. I would not recommend Las Palmas.

I moved in March, and so far, love the complex. Exterior spaces are well maintained, attractive, welcoming. Interior areas are varied, all beautiful, also well maintained. The entrance is reminiscent of a resort hotel. My apartment is perfect for my dog and I, with a large bedroom, large bathroom, living area spacious, with plenty of cupboard and closet storage.

Communication with tenants is lacking. Lately, we get some mail from the manager. But in an emergency (alarm rings), people on the 2nd and 3rd floor have no clue as to do if its a real fire? What should we do? Tell us why the alarm is ringing!! Also, music could be paired into the dining room when we reform to it!

Location - Ideal. Beautiful building - needs some upkeep. People are wonderful. Activities - keeping us active as much as they can with virus. Hopefully, we will get more active when the coronavirus is over. Food needs improving, know they are working on it. Overall, great.

Grounds and buildings are well kept. Food could be better, it's just satisfactory. Staff is great - pleasant and helpful. Housekeeping could be better. Windows inside never worked in 3 years since I've been here. Staff strictly adhering to pandemic rules and reg. So far we are virus-free. Thank god!! Yearly rent increases are top excessive for what we are getting in return.
