About the facility Jackson Creek Senior Living

Jackson Creek Senior Living has the benefit of being in one of the most scenic parts of the state in Monument, Colorado, conveniently located between Colorado Springs and Denver. As a suburb, Monument has a quiet, family-friendly feel. Fox Run Regional Park next door is where many residents and visitors hike or go horseback riding. Mt. Herman looks over the town, and the mountain range can be clearly seen from many of the large windows at the facility.

Tastefully decorated with modern amenities and mountain charm, Jackson Creek provides a wide range of support, including independent living, assisted living, memory care, and respite. All residents have access to the unique amenities. The putting green and raised gardening beds are especially popular.

Jackson Creek has an on-staff wellness director who cares for every senior’s emotional, spiritual, and intellectual well-being. The full slate of daily activities is one avenue to help residents stay engaged and happy. Many seniors are involved with social clubs. And bring your furry friend, because pets are encouraged!

Jackson Creek Senior Living

Jackson Creek has been pretty good, but I do have a couple of complaints. My mom is not been a position to be able to go down to their dining facility, and she will often have something delivered to her room. Sometimes it takes forever to get to her and sometimes the food is cold. One time last week she never got her meal. They're also supposed to come in and clean her room once a week or so, but they don't do a very good job. They haven't been vacuuming; they kind of do a dry mop on a hardwood floor, which just pushes the dust and crumbs around. They haven't actually vacuumed the carpet. I was going to bring in my own vacuum and do it myself. They gave an excuse of their vacuum not working very well, and it being too expensive to purchase a new vacuum. The cleaning and food delivery services are not that great. Other than that, the people have been very nice and it has been good other than those two things. The place as a whole, I think, is very clean. The move in was great as well. The help that they provided to get moved in and the correspondence with the lady I was dealing with, she was great in making sure everything was squared away.

Stellar Senior Living

They're friendly and they are attentive. They have good facilities, especially for my dad. The putting green is awesome and the garage availability is key for him as well. This is a societal-wide problem, but they are definitely understaffed in the dining room. I think they have difficulties getting enough staff.

My tour review

These were nice communities but my loved one wanted to have independent living in the same building and this community did not offer that. My loved one did not want to have to walk to get to the dining area.

our families experience

So far we have been really happy with the services coming from Jackson Creek, and based on our experience so far we would recommend the community to others. Our loved one does not participate in the activities but from what we have seen, they seem perfect. We do know anything regarding the meals and dining since we have not visited during meal time, but our loved ones diet recently needed to be adjusted and they had no problem ordering the special food that was needed. They have been very accommodating.

Tour of Jackson Creek

We toured Jackson Creek and it is a very nice facility and they did a great job with the tour. They had less of a selection of rooms with a view during the period that we were looking. We decided on another facility, but we would have been happy with either place.

Very spacious hallways that form a circle on either end. 2 dining, 2 living and 2 activity areas. fidget boards on walls, hats on walls, even 2 violins they can take down and play with. The biggest drawback is the size of the closets in the rooms. The rooms are very small but typical (335 - 432 sq ft.) Prices range from $6500 - $7175. Incontinence fee is $300/ month, or we can just buy supplies ourselves. No levels of care - one price for all care. Dry cleaning is possible. Ratio is 1 to 6 daily, nights about 1 to 8. The goal is to have an RN or LPN on the floor 24/7. Rooms come with a huge bathroom with large step in shower, mini fridge, sink in room and bathroom, built in "closet

A New Lease on Life

The care the staff gives residents is excellent. There are choices for what the residents to choose from for their meals. During the pandemic the meals are being served to the residents in their rooms. They even have ice cream socials for the residents. The activities are great, even my loved one enjoys them. The staff is bringing activities to the rooms and hallway activities for the residents. The fees are competitive with other communities in the area, and it is a nice community. The community is beautifully decorated, with beautiful views, and is cheerful. They never pressured my loved one to take the vaccine; however, the staff has offered the vaccine to all residents.

Wonderful place!

Caring personnel. Delicious food. Spotlessly clean. Extensive activities to keep the mind and body as healthy as possible. I can’t say enough about the wonderful atmosphere and caring personnel. All personnel know every resident by name, treating each person with dignity and respect. My Dad has been very happy there for 9 months. I’m there daily and see firsthand how happy the residents are and how they’re treated. The residents and staff are a warm family.
