My husband had a very unsuccessful first hip surgery where his femur was broken in surgery and it never healed properly. He had a second VERY successful revision surgery and the hip felt great. Unfortunately, he got a serious infection and the hip had to be removed and an antibiotic hip put in for 6-8 weeks. He cannot put ANY pressure on it. [name removed] is our helper and what a Godsend she is to my husband AND to me! She is so patient and helpful. She takes care of all of his personal hygiene needs and anything around the house. She has literally saved us and I don’t know what we would do without her! We love “[name removed]!”

I contacted this company months before I finally had my surgery so I had them ready to help me during my recovery and [name removed] was regularly in contact with me and my best friend for months before the surgery finally happened. I got really sick and was admitted to the hospital so the surgery was cancelled and rescheduled two times before needing someone here to help me for a few days. She called to check on me and stopped by a couple of times to. Very attentive and caring. The caregivers I had were excellent and I couldnt of asked for nicer girls to help me when I needed them. [name removed] & [name removed] did a fantastic job! I have your number saved in my phone and will definitely call when I need you again.

Home matters was there for my mom when she didn't think she needed it. [name removed] was her caregiver and although my mother thought she was okay not needing help [name removed] was there the day and time she needed it most and I am very thankful for that. I live out of State so it meant a lot knowing there was a team of people here that I could call or have call me if there were any issues I otherwise wouldn't know about. Very pleased that my mom had someone here with her to help. Thank you, [name removed]and [name removed], for a job so wonderfully done.

I was mandated by my doctor to have someone come and check on me a few times a week due to some health problems i have recently had. My daughter found this company and they have been really flexible in times. I am independant and dont need a lot of help so having someone come and check on me for a few hours a few times a week has let me still have my freedom and makes my doctor happy. Ive had a couple of caregivers that come and over these months Ive got to know them pretty good. Shauna checks on me and has taken me to a lot of my doctor appointments to help my daughter where she cant be the one to take me. Its been a good experience and the manager keeps in regular contact with my daughter which is really important to her.

My mother-in-law was released from the hospital back to her facility being covid positive with symptoms with the requirement that she pay for one-on-one caregiving too. My husband and I were also sick and quarantined so unable to do anything to help rather than pay for this extra service she could not afford. The agency was able to work it out with the facility in our place to make it work for the best of my mother in law's financial situation and still get the one-on-one requirements agreed upon. To summarize my husband and I were not only very ill we but unable to help but also very unhappy the way it was supposed to happen, and this agency took the level of compassion to a level I don't think any other companies would. It was made a best-case scenario in some very hard times.

I feel that the homematters provides good caregivers and amazing service. The caregivers are very efficient and caring and go above an beyond meet my needs. They make excellent meals and help clean and tidy up my house.

I worked with Home Matters after my Mother's release from the Hospital. Our assigned Aide [name removed] was fantastic with my mother and met our every need. I would highly recommend [name removed] to take care of any Family member. Home Matters was very easy to work with and responsive to all my needs.

I was having a MOHS procedure to remove a skin cancer problem and and fill the void left from the removal. Not knowing in advance the extent of the surgery, [name removed]. was assigned for my care. [name removed] competently drove me to the surgery, followed by driving me back to my home. She then helped get me comfortably positioned to rest and recuperate, secured foods appropriate for the time of day as well as getting necessary prescription. She happily dealt with all the details and kept asking what else I might need! When my son arrived, [name removed] related my current status details before leaving. For follow up appointments, she provided transportation and shared her pertinent opinions with the doctor. All the care was provided in a timely and caring manner and was greatly appreciated.

Our experience with Home Matters Caregiving has exceeded our expectations in every way. We found them during a very difficult time in my health journey when we desperately needed extra support. A trusted doctor referred us to them, and their caregivers immediately stepped up to help us out. We were met with such compassion, kindness, and clear communication every step of the way. The Community Liaison for Home Matters Caregiving is one of the most delightful, energetic, caring and compassionate person you will ever meet. She personally gets involved with each client/family members to ensure that the proper caregiver is paired up with your loved one. We always could contact her for whatever questions or concerns we may have had and she would always be happy to assist us. Even after our mom no longer needed her company's caregiver services, she still followed up with us to see how our mom was doing. She has a servant's heart which is why she excels in her position. And she'll ensure peace of mind to any family whose loved ones need extra help. Highly recommend Home Matters!
