My dad is a difficult to please and complains a lot so I can't get him to speak positively about any place. I have not been to the property. Best part is the price. I've tried to call them and email them and no one ever bother to return my calls. So, low price is all I have to offer.

May 6, 2024Kellie, thank you for sharing your experience. The General Manager is available to further discuss your concerns. If you would like to be put in touch, please email me at CustomerService@AtriaSeniorLiving.com.
Some good points. Some bad. Mom has gone long periods of time with no dusting done in her apartment. When I complained about it (twice) the front counter person wrote a note on scratch paper twice. Very slow to fix issue. Granted this was around Thanksgiving, but tenants should not suffer if paying for services. Hit and miss. Some could not care less. Some are helpful. Your ambulance service was extremely rude to my mother on the one occasion they were called and made my mother feel they were inconveniencing them. Unacceptable. I know they are not your employees, but when the front counter staff were told this, the response was "this isn't the first time we've heard this." Well....... fix it then. Again, if paying for services, we should expect them. The elderly are feeble and scared and don't need to be subjected to rude, undertrained first aid personnel. Your ambulance service is sub par and should be replaced immediately. Personally I have not eaten there but my mother recently complained that food is declining. I've heard several other tenants say the same. And why are the residence not allowed to exit their seats while they eat? They are not children and they pay to be here. This is very odd. They have to raise their hand to get anything? The provided meals is one of the main reasons we chose Holiday. Shouldn't the meals be excellent? Actually pretty pleased with offered activities. I see now why this is less expensive than most. When we were given a tour before signing we were told shuttle service would take residence anywhere in the city. Apparently this is not the case. Can you clarify? Because currently I feel we were lied to. Candidly, I'm currently looking for another place to live for her. Over all not too pleased. And now the rent is being raised I hear? . Nope. I'd rather pay more somewhere else and get better service. My mom is a 73 year old recent widow and deserves more

My dad has lived here almost 2 years. The staff is both friendly and helpful. He has made several friends here. Whenever he has an issue, the staff is quick to respond.

I have been here 7 years and enjoy everything about it. Management picks up work where lack of employees leaves extra work (ie) housekeeping, serving. Excellent staff.

I would recommend you give Rogue Valley a try. Overall the atmosphere is nice. All the staff are polite and kind, and I'm impressed with the staff. The food is pretty good. There are several options to choose from for menu items. The only thing that could be improved is the temperature of meals could be hotter. Some of the activities they have to offer is field trips, outside entertainment, games, wine social once a week, and more for the residents to choose from.

My experience has been complex, and not cut and dry. They say you get internet, but that's not a true statement. They do have the internet, but most people can't access it because it's not strong enough. But the food is good. The people are friendly, including the staff. Overall I think it's a a win-win. But there are tings that need improvement, which is true everywhere.

I haven't been here that long, but it's been great so far. The people are friendly. I like my apartment. It's a 1-bedroomn with a nice size bathroom, and there's room for my kitchen table and chairs. There's a little dollar convenience store on site in the community, and they seem to follow through with all of the activities they offer. They're also a pet friendly community.

September 13, 2021Hi, thanks so much for taking time to rate and leave a review. We're thrilled to hear that you are enjoying your time in our community! Can you share any specific areas where you think we could improve - or that would earn us a 5-star review? Thank you again.
The management recently left. I decided to leave the community. I hope this change will help the residents that are still there. The fees were outrageous, and have moved and it was more than half the cost of what I was paying. The cleaning the room consisted of a four-and-a-half minute, that was a quick sweep of a swifter. I know this was all management that was the issue here. Again I think this should change due to new management. The location is nice. The fire alarm kept going off. This community could use an update. The chef was excellent with what they allowed him to do. The food was delivered to the room and it ended up being cold due to COVID. I feel this is due to the Health Department Requirements that they have restricted the communities across the country.

September 8, 2021Hello and thank you for your honest review. We are always working to improve on our community and create a warm and inviting atmosphere for our residents to call home. We do believe that our new leadership shares the same values and have been able to make this a wonderful community. We are sorry you are no longer a resident however we invite you back if you are ever in search for a senior community so you can see for yourself all the ways we've improved upon.
We chose this facility because of the price, we felt like it was a good deal for what she was going to get as well as the location. I think the apartments are a decent. Overall, we have had a good experience and would recommend.

Two servers, [names removed] are the best! They are always smiling, friendly to all and willing to go the extra mile to help a resident. They never make you wait or forget what you have asked of them. As far as the activities, the game rules or guidelines change frequently to the point that it’s not fun anymore! The quality of the food has gone downhill this past year especially when the chef is gone and leaves the kitchen in the hands of his assistants. We never know what to expect from them. The food is thrown out before the last residents have been served. Sometimes there is no food left to serve the residents that live at the end of the serving line. That has happened frequently. The residents pay a lot of money to live there and should never have to worry whether they will eat or not.

I toured at Rogue Valley with my loved one, and we liked the feel of this community very much. It was a nice place, and as far as the community itself, it would have been a great fit. However, it was too expensive, and as a result, was not a practical option for us.

Honestly, I think this facility is very antiquated. The building was built many years ago, maybe the 70s, you could tell the carpet was worn out, and I don’t think they’ve had the opportunity to update anything since then. One thing I wasn’t really excited about was the refrigerator in the apartment. It’s like a mini fridge you’d find in a hotel and it’s set on the floor. For seniors, I don’t think it’s good for them to get that low and it didn’t feel very safe. I asked if they had plans to update the fridge or anything in the kitchen and they said no because they didn’t have the funding but that we could bring our own table to set the fridge on. I didn’t feel like that was an appropriate answer. The decks outside had rails that weren’t safe and you couldn’t even walk around the outside because there was no sidewalk and a lot of the bricks were out of place because of the roots from the trees. The blocks weren’t leveled and it was just a huge safety hazard. The manager was very nice and the residents were friendly, but this place really needs to be brought into the 21st century. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone unless it’s updated.

March 13, 2018Hi there, thank you for taking the time to let us know about your recent experience. We are disappointed to hear that you are not satisfied with your visit. We have shared your review with our management team so that we can improve for residents and future guests. Thank you again.
I really like to be outdoors and this place stood out to me the most out of the others because my room came with a balcony. I like to go outside and enjoy the sound of the school band playing next door. I’m on the third floor with the balcony and I’m nestled in the trees with a lovely view so it is very nice. They have even used my studio to show other people touring because of how nicely it is decorated. The staff there really takes care of us. They are pleasant, friendly, and always there for you. They have great communication and they are knowledgeable about what they’re doing. If there is a problem, they’re on it right away. Their cleanliness is very good too. They work on it all the time. They come once a week to do the laundry and I take my own trash out. It’s very convenient with the laundry room being right down the hall as well. The other residents are very friendly and welcoming; we always have so much fun together. There are plenty of things to do with tons of activities. The most popular is bean bag baseball and it really becomes a team effort. It gets very competitive, there are people out there that are 96 years old playing this! Everyone gets so involved and is cheering everyone else on, it’s very heartwarming. There is also bingo several times per week, exercise classes, and Zumba. The only negative thing that I would say is that they put too much salt in the food. The food itself is good, but it’s very unhealthy with how much sodium they put in. We actually have a meeting once a week with the chef and I would tell them about it and they do the best they can. I think it’s just because everyone is old and their taste buds start to go, so they add more salt for them to taste anything. The food is wonderful though, it’s flavorful and interesting. I would recommend this community to others.

My mother has recently made the move into this community and so far I have no complaints of how things are going for her. The staff have been excellent with her care plan and I could have not asked for a more accommodating group. My mom was very happy that she was able to bring her dog and is now living in one of there spacious apartments. She has really been enjoying the meals the chef prepares as well as the activity program they have throughout the week. Overall my mom has adjusted well and we are happy.
