We like that Holiday Maple Downs is safe and secure. Yes, I would recommend this community to other families but I'm just surprised how much they raise rates. [name removed] should be highlighted. She's a huge reason we are there. It's safe and secure. Has everything you need really. Clean. Fun. Can trust the staff.

Holidays Maple Downs has been a great match to my brother's needs. The facility is gorgeous and we are happy with the arrangements with the nurse and her staff who takes care of his medications and daily living activities.

So glad my parents are at Holiday Maple Downs. The staff really care about everything, especially the residents, and appear to enjoy working there. What I notice when walking around is the residents are cheerful. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. My parents have a lovely apartment and hired private caregivers to assist. There are fun activities daily and many other social opportunities to keep everyone engaged and active.

We have had a very positive experience at Maple Downs. The staff has been wonderful and dad gets all three meals. He walks daily, has friends and there are activities if he wants to participate. There is also music and a short Happy hour on Friday. Dad can be independent, and has the option to hire aids if he needs them as he processes. He is so happy and we are happy as family that we do not have to worry about him in his old home. Thank you Maple Downs. Please continue your fabulous staff and service.

Reasonably good but since they we acquired by a large provider the meals have gone down hill. They are having difficulty attracting and retaining staff.

Response from Holiday Maple Downs
May 21, 2024Your feedback is important to us. The General Manager would appreciate the opportunity to discuss your concerns further. Please email me at CustomerService@AtriaSeniorLiving.com and I will put you in touch with him.
The facility was kept clean. Staff dropped the ball on mom's apartment. Aids independent of MD. The group we hired was pretty good but had staffing issues. Local management was available and likable but sometimes his behind blaming corporate for certain policies.

Staff is friendly. Before signing the lease, I had a lot of interaction with management. Since signing the lease, I haven't seen or heard much from them anymore. Food is overall good from what my father says, though some days are better than others. The room itself is very nice and comfortable. The maintenance staff is very nice, and will bring new towels and sheets etc. when you ask. The activities are not communicated very well, although that may be because my father isn't paying attention. The property itself is very nice and the facility seems to be clean and well maintained.

The staff is very friendly, compassionate, and attentive. My brother was much younger than most of the other residents so that impacted the care and activities score. The food needs to be served hot from what my brother had said multiple times. They were really good to my brother during his stay with them.

The staff at Maple Downs was very welcoming and the residents were very friendly on our initial visit. Happy hour was going on and it was fun. The sales team made every effort to make things affordable and all the information we needed for a smooth move from his home of 40 plus years.

Whatever issue you might have, they will help find a solution. Although this is an independent facility, they have private duty help available for reasonable rates. Guests are able to join residents for meals for $5.

I have toured with the facility and I have had the greatest experience. All of the staff was accommodating and knowledgeable of their community. We were met by their resident ambassadors, offered a wonderful meal and sent home with a pie, AMAZING! We are in the beginning stages of our search and will definitely be returning to Maple Downs to finalize our plans.

The apartments here are great, they are very spacious with balconies, porches, private bathrooms, dining room etc. Some of the amenities include a gym, library, activity room, and chapel. They also offer transportation. It is great and I love it! All of the staff have been friendly, professional, helpful and caring. I would highly recommend Maple Downs to others looking for independent living.

We have been extremely pleased with all aspects for Holiday Maple Downs community. We like that the aids work for us and not the facility. We all have come to know the personnel at M.D. more in less than two months than nine years at her previous residence. You can put me down for 5 in each category at this point.

Response from Holiday Maple Downs
June 29, 2023We're grateful to have you and your family part of the Holiday by Atria family! We appreciate your kind compliments and will be sure share with our team.
We toured Holiday Maple Downs during our search for an Independent Living facility for our loved one. This facility was terrific, everything seemed to be great! The staff was very helpful and aware of our needs. The facility was spotless. However, the cost of the facility was beyond our financial ability so we continued on with our search.

July 11, 2023Thank you for sharing your positive experience! Please don't hesitate to reach back out for any more information!
My dad was skeptical but he is thriving! He keeps telling me to sell his house. Maple Downs is a great fit for him. I think it's a very underrated place in my area. I'm thankful that it came up on A Place For Mom because it didn't come up in most of my networking. These places run a tight circle.

My father is very happy at Maple Downs. I have told friends that people who work at the community have been kind to my father and our family. My father has made new friends and is feeling a sense of being part of his new community. He is able to maintain friendships with people in his previous town and goes out to breakfast weekly with men from his church. My father was unexpectedly hospitalized and the sales director told him when he returned that she had asked her mother to pray and light a candle for him. This meant a lot to my father. He has repeatedly said that moving to Maple Downs was a good decision.

A Place for Mom has scored Holiday Maple Downs 9.8 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
