The staff was very nice. Her room was well taken care of. There was one disappointing. When she moved in the main dining room had a full menu. A lot of choices, almost like a restaurant. After awhile, that all changed. Limited menu, like one size fits all. It felt like a bait and switch situation.... Read more

Staff can't remember to make the bed although it is a service included in my $[removed]/month charges. I must request it daily. Place not well managed. Clean and new but otherwise not a place for mom. Can't recommend it.

When we first arrived at Hilltop Springs Memory Care my mom's medication were not administered correctly such as wrong medications at wrong times. This went on for many weeks in which I was there everyday for weeks to make sure my mom was getting the right medications. They are completely understaffed, the staff has minimal to zero training, the staff is overworked due to the shortage of staffing (I have witnessed a staff member sleeping on the couch). My mom was never supposed to be alone due to her dementia and was always alone and has fallen many times until she fell and broke her hip. The staff as well as managers would call me constantly at my work to help her my mom's anxiety to calm her down with me talking with her instead of them doing their job. The lack of communication between families and staff members is very unsafe and residents are consistently unsupervised creating an extremely unsafe environment! When visiting my mom I found her in bed sleeping in her own urine/feces

I had to give a star rating to write a review that is the only reason I gave 1 star. Hilltop Springs Memory Care is the worst!! They are completely understaffed, the staff has minimal to zero training, the staff is overworked due to the shortage of staffing (I have witnessed a staff member sleeping on the couch). The lack of communication between families and staff members is repulsive and residents or consistently unsupervised creating an extremely unsafe environment! The result of Hilltop Springs incompetency has forced myself and family to deal with my moms premature death.

My loved one is a resident at Hilltop Springs Senior Living. The facility had made many changes since my loved one has moved in. For some reason, the independent living dinning gets more selection and longer hours but the assisted living residents can't go there now. I believe that is discrimination. Also, the rent has raised by 4% within 4 months and my loved one may not be able to afford it soon.

Subpar food, activities, and staff. My basic needs weren't met. Staff is stressed out and nobody seems happy. I had waited a long time to move in and was estatic. I hope they get better people to work there that care about us.

A Place for Mom has scored Hilltop Springs Senior Living 5.2 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
