It has been great and they keep me up to date. They are trying to get my loved one moving and she really likes it. It is a wonderful experience.

They've been very helpful and on-task when things have arisen with my mother and have remedied the situations rather quickly.

The rehab therapists were very attentive to her needs, not just their guidelines. The attentive nurses were phenomenal! The patient room was kept very clean, as well as the overall facility. Communication on the administrative level could have been better.

It's been a good experience. The people are really nice, the therapists and nurses. The food is good, my husband has been enjoying the food. It's a beautiful facility, it doesn't smell, and it's clean. We arrived on a weekend and had some initial troubles figuring things out and didn't get the welcome folder until a number of days later. It would have been nice to have that on our first day. We did have some initial issues with incorrect medication dispensing and we finally did get that corrected. One night one of the nurses couldn't find one of my husband's medications that he was supposed to get, and that was not good.

It was a very nice and clean place and the people were very helpful. The therapists did a responsibly good job she enjoyed it there. They kept the rooms clean and the hallways the bathroom everywhere was always clean. She liked it when she went to the grill and she could pick out what she wanted she liked that the best.

The facilities are absolutely first class and the people who are running it are so helpful. Everybody seems to be on the same page, I like that. My brother tells me that they come in every day and they are frequently checking on his vitals. He's happy with the food and he's eating better. Every time I've called, they've been right there to answer.

So far so good. They do not take her to dine with everybody. She is in the rehab center and not in the nursing home part. It is clean. She said the food is good but I do not like that they do not keep the patients altogether in the dining room. I have not gotten any updates.

Most of them are really good but they do not know their patients for their strong or low points. They are fine. She never sees the same person. Everybody is really good. There is one girl who helped my mom a lot with coughing and is very attentive. The maintenance man helps with the patients. It is super clean and a very nice place. No one hardly eats in the dining room and an aide sits with the one patient in the dining area. The food could be better. I have not gotten any updates and I have to hunt down someone.

A Place for Mom has scored Hillside Heights Rehabilitation Suites 8 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
