I have visited Hillcrest Memory Care a few times and every time I do, everyone is so very polite and caring. They're kind and they say kind things about my Dad, even though he is a tough case. [Name removed] is a shining star there for me and has been extremely helpful. My Dad gets everything that he needs. Right now, we are adjusting medication, so he is navigating that transition. They help a lot with medication management, showering/dressing, but I am not sure of schedule. They always communicate with me about any events that occur. I am in the no news is good news category and they have only had to call a few times. Hillcrest does have activities and my Dad participates in them on occasion, but I haven't been there during those times. The times that Dad does participate, it is good for him. Hillcrest Memory Care is the only community that could/would take him, and extend the proper care that fell within our budget. My Dad has everything he needs at Hillcrest.... Read more

They came to be very on top of things, medically. Things don't get pushed to the side - so to speak. Hillcrest Memory Care is probably the best place we've had him in.
It wasn't very good.

I would tell others to look into this community. The price was great for us. I wouldn't change anything.

My dad has not been here for a while. The facility itself was a good value for the money. My experience started off ok here, but they were not able to handle my dad and I had to take him out. One thing that is really needed is more knowledge about early onset Alzheimer's, it seems that nobody could manage him and it was very hard on our family and hard on him.

it started out a really good experience but at some point along the way there was a lot of staff turnover and after that point I didn't feel he was getting good care, He eventually got scabies from his room being so dirty. His wallet was also stolen while living there. The staff were nice but shorthanded although they tried and they seemed to care about him. I would not recommend this community to other families.

Horrible facility. If you love your parents/aunts/uncles, please DO NOT put them in there. It always smells so horrible, the place looks very dirty, even the bathrooms for visitors were disgusting. Management sucks. [Name removed] doesn’t care one bit about the facility or staff. [Name removed] doesn’t know how to be a managEr, she is lazy and corrupt. She talks bad about her own staff, instigates fights, brushes a lot of things under the rug and doesn’t report a lot of things that happen to save herself. When state licensing comes, they tell staff what to say and tell them not to say anything that is going on. The residents get neglected by management and staff. This place needs to get shut down or get new management team because they don’t know what they are doing. Residents walk around with bm all over, dirty clothes, oh and they had bed bugs in the whole facility not too long ago. The residents have scabies and they stay quiet to save themselves.

I had my Dad here. We moved him to a board and care. This facility is by far the worst I have seen. They are understaffed and cannot provide adequate care for their patients. I often see patients walking around with wet and dirty diapers. The place is dirty and smelly and patients wander into other patients rooms and take things. I do not recommend this care home.

This is a nice small community. The staff takes very good care of the residents with great care. The food is very good and a nice variety. They do offer activities for those who want to stay active. I would recommend the good care here for other families.
