We are thrilled with our decision to move my dad to Highpoint of Cape Coral. From the beginning, [name removed], Director of Sales, stood out with his excellent communication and customer service. He truly listened to our needs. It was very clear that [name removed] genuinely cares about the residents. [name removed], the move-in coordinator, was outstanding, ensuring a smooth transition and providing quick responses when we had questions about measurements and other details. We visited the facility multiple times with my dad, even dining there to confirm the food quality, which did not disappoint. [name removed], Dining Room Manager, went above and beyond, greeting us personally and showing genuine care for the residents. [name removed], Director of Nursing, has been invaluable as we navigate my dad’s health concerns. [name removed], the Executive Director, has been wonderful and very supportive. Every staff member we've met has been professional & compassionate. We are very happy with our decision.

On the meals, I can't rate this because I've never seen or eaten It came down to two facilities. High Point and [community name removed]. Both were comparably priced and both were fairly new facilities. We were leaning a little bit toward [community name removed] when, upon finding out we had narrowed it down to two, their sales person badmouthed High Point. On the other hand, when I asked High Point, what they thought about [community name removed], they said "While we would like you to be a part of our family, either choice is an exceptional facility and your father (in-law)will be happy. "there. That said, my father-in-law is well fed and he seems to think the food is just fine.

It's a nice facility with good people. They haves big problem with the main elevator after every storm Today is the third day it has been inoperative. Cleanliness- they keep the facility very well. The staff is excellent in most areas although there is a lot of changing their positions Meals/dining -They use basic food that has a lot of white bread, vegetables are overcooked. It's always heavy on meat, and all of the soups are meat based. When Mom went in they promised that they could make lots of vegetarian. They can't and they don't. I'm sure that they charge a lot for food and she usually makes her own meals and brings it down so she can socialize.. Activities -There is very little variety bingo, and cards, some athleticism work. They live for happy hour but the dates aren't consistent and it's now very crowded because they have joined the IL with the AL

Very strange interactions with the team there. I didn't trust them. We picked Highpoint because that is where Mom and her husband felt most comfortable.

One of the best facilities in town and would recommend them but need to keep in touch. There's been a lot of turnover which seems to be common anymore.

When it comes to the meals and dining my dad didn't like the food. Not enough variety. For the value for cost we probably could have rented a condo for the price and what he was getting in return.

The employees are the best! I wanted Independent and Assisted Living, plus Memory Care in the same building. It's big enough to have a good range of amenities. It's small enough to have a close knit community feel. The food is good and there are choices. It's a new building that is built to be 'hurricane proof'. It has worked out very well for my husband and me.

I am currently a resident at Highpoint at Cape Coral and the experience has been great all except for one thing, the rent. It was raised $333 per month and it is too much for some folks. Ten residents have left, just in the last month. Those interested in this facility should know that a large increase is coming yearly.

Our family had an in person tour with Highpoint at Cape Coral and we LOVED everything about Highpoint. However having to walk off the property to smoke would not work with her Alzheimer's diagnosis.
They were very friendly, explained everything thoroughly, gave documents to back up their statements. When we visited residents came up to us, and said how much they love the place. A lot of different activities going on all the time they were playing music when you walked in there was a grand piano and they greeted you with a smile. Just love everything about it, my father is extremely happy there, which was very important to us.

The staff is great. They like the residents, each other and their jobs. The food is good. We have a wide range of choices for our continental breakfast and 1 other meal served restaurant style. There's a special served for lunch and for dinner. There are other options if you don't want the special. HighPoint is big enough to have great amenities and small enough to foster a close knit community. It's like living at a 4-star resort.

1. Experience was excellent 2. Cleanliness appeared spotless 3. Every member of the staff was very pleasant 4. Quality of care, I think was excellent, Dad never complained. 5. Food was outstanding. Dad always comment on the great food and the pleasantness of the staff 6. Dad enjoyed his trip adventures. 7. I believe we got our money's worth at High Point. Dad only left High Point to be closer to his family. Regretfully, Dad passed away before he could move into his new apartment in Indianapolis. We got a very nice card, signed by several members of the Staff. That was unexpected & well received by my family

Highpoint at Cape Coral in my opinion surpassed any other facility that we had initially looked at. I have found all the staff are willing to help you in whatever way that they can. The memory care staff is very attentive to the needs of those in their care. I really like the room sizes in memory care. The rooms are bright and well cared for. I would highly recommend this facility for those looking for memory care.

The staff has been great at Highpoint at Cape Coral. My Mom is picky and she says nothing but good things about High Point. The staff have always been friendly and helpful to me. I actually had dinner there one night and it was very good. I would recommend this facility to others.

The staff members are great and the people living here are just as friendly. There are so many activities that are planned and the food is good. The trash is picked p 3 times a week, and our rooms are cleaned once a week. The location is right off Delprado and close to everything. They have a van that takes groups out to lunch in the area. We also have movies, and painting classes. They have someone playing the piano and different groups to entertain us several times a month.

A Place for Mom has scored Highpoint at Cape Coral 9.5 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
