Look elsewhere

This home is run very unprofessionally run. They cut corners, they are under qualified, not educated, and far from dedicated about giving your loved one their last chance at a great quality of life. It is run out of a home that is not well maintained and not efficient. The menu is said to be homemade and well balanced and it Is far from appetizing and very low quality food. They say they offer activities when in reality the residents sit in chairs in the living room all day and watch tv after eating their meals. It is sad to see. They may look organized at times but they are far from it. Highland Hills is the last place I would ever consider placing my loved one. The owners and their employees have not hesitated to argue or complain in front of residents and family members. I am not sure how this place is still in business.

I read this review and this is very far from the truth about HIghland Hills. I work in the assisted living field and have been in this home multiple times and it is a beautiful home that gives quality care to their residents. Most of the residents there have been there for many years and I can tell you from personal experience they are very happy living in this home.

Residential Care Home

My mom was moved in on a Friday night and I moved her out Sunday afternoon. The owner Lora was lazy and incompetent. There is 9 women in this home and my mom was the only one in hospice stage. Lora made us feel like mom was an inconvenients to her and complained to us that because of mom she was unable to get any rest. So do yourselves a favore and you love your family member DO NOT place them at this care home.
