I would highly recommend The Harvest. I will not recommend your services. I could have easily done for myself what you did, and I think it's deplorable that you would charge the facility what you do simply for making a phone call to set up a visit, especially when I initially said I was interested in this facility. I think you should, at the very least, disclose your charges when speaking with people such as myself. I wish I could make in excess of $[removed] for sending a couple of texts and making an appointment. I think this practice is shameful... especially when your clients are unaware that it is happening.

We chose Harvest at Fowler because is it very close so if something happens or we want to visit, we can get there quickly. The value for the money is also great for the area, we looked some other places that were much more expensive. They have called when there is any questions or concerns whether it is minor or major, so they have been great with communication with the family and are very proactive. I would definitely recommend them to others.

I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. The friendliness and doing whatever needed to be done for the residents sticks out to me. The community was good at allowing us to visit our loved one.

We placed my mother at The Harvest in [date removed], 2 weeks prior to the covid shutdowns. We had to truly believe in the care of the staff to love and protect our loved one during this very trying time, and the staff at The Harvest certainly rose above and beyond our expectations, at a time when we couldn't be there for our family member. Not once did I worry about my momma, I knew she was being cared for and loved on. In [date removed] my momma started Hospice care while at The Harvest; her being on Hospice now meant that I could visit. I spent every day there until the day she passed. I found the caregivers to not only be exceptional with the care for my mom, but they were exceptional of their care for me as well. They were my support team as well as friends. I learned so much about compassion from all the team at The Harvest that words really can't describe my appreciations to them. If you are looking for a care home The Harvest is exceptional.

We chose Harvest at Fowler because it was a smaller community so it was a little more of homey type atmosphere. The location is in a small town and the staff members do seem involved in the residents. I do think they could improve a little bit on the communication to families. He really enjoys the meals here, the lady that cooks makes all homeade food. I would recommend to others looking.

I like that the community is smaller and close to my brother. It's gated and the grounds are really nice, which I like. I was impressed that they have an activities director there, Monday through Friday. Because of the small size, I was impressed that they have a person for that. My brother lives there and is really happy with it. It's working out great.

A Place for Mom has scored Harvest At Fowler 8.5 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
