Harbour View Senior Living

My mother was in this facility last year. Unfortunately, I had to transfer her to be closer to me in another state. The care at Harbourview DOES NOT compare to any senior home that we have experienced. The care is exceptional. My mother met alot of friends while at the facility and I can see the difference in her mood now. If I move back to NJ, hands down I will definitely bring my mother back to Harbourview. The nursing team is phenomenal. [name removed] and [name removed] director of nursing are always available to help us any time of the day and also very accessible through email. The health aides always made sure my mother's room was organized and clean. They always did their best to convince my mother to engage in activities. [name removed]never failed to paint mom's nails. [name removed]from the kitchen was always going out of her way make sure my mother was happy with her meals, as picky as she is. It was such a great experience!

I must say i have known of Harbour View formerly knows as Hudson Hills for a while now so i was very hesitant to bring my mother in there for rehab after she had a fall at home. Let me start by saying i was very surprised to see all the amazing changes it has gone through, the care my mother received was incredible, the rehab team was amazing, the nursing team was attentive and very caring, they always communicated with me about any changes and improvements on my mother status. I highly recommend this place and rest assured if my mother needs more rehab or long term care this is the place she will go to.

Our mother is at harbourview senior living ALF. The staff members are truly warm and caring. The DON and Charge nurse are very informative and always giving us updates. They treat each resident with love and respect. Each staff member is attentive to our mother needs. After a short time there, they knew her likes and dislikes. We visit often and see that she is clean and well cared for. She always has hair well groomed. They have a variety of activities to keep the residents engaged. It always nice to see my mother participating. The facility is very safe and secure. The building is always clean. Her apartment is always neat, clean and laundry done. The staff is always friendly and greeted us with a smile. The nursing and medical staff explained step by step what was needed. They were always available to answer my questions or address any concerns. We highly recommend Harbourview senior living Assisted living for your loved one.

My dad is a resident at Harbourview Assisted Living. Prior to his move in to AL, he was in subacute rehab at Harbourview as well. Admissions was extremely helpful with guiding us step by step during his transition. It is a great feeling to see how far he came along after being in and out of the hospital, thanks to the nursing and rehab team. The staff is extremely attentive to his needs and are always available to discuss our concerns. They care for the residents with grace and compassion.

My mother stayed at Harbour View for a week while we were switching her caregiver at home. While there’s no place like home, my mom and the rest of my family couldn’t have been happier with the care she received during her stay. Everyone was above and beyond caring, even when my mom was being grouchy. Their patience is next level! We felt as though she was in extremely safe hands and would definitely plan another stay if we need it in the future.

When trying to decide a spot for my grandfather to live, we were stuck on options. When Harbour View was suggested, we had a great tour and the staff (including the Director,[name removed]) were nothing but kind and went above and beyond what we needed to help get my grandfather into the situation he needed for success. The fact that the facility is independent living coupled with assisted living and long-term care, we have a lot of options as it relates to his care. We were so satisfied with the services provided in conjunction with what the facility has to offer. A clean room, good care, great food and an atmosphere that allows for my grandfather to have the resources he needs to do well and succeed. He is doing well and is socializing again and getting a space together with friends and allowing himself the ability to do well and thrive. That is all we could ask for. If you need a space for a elder loved one, this is the spot. You won't be disappointed with the care provided.

Harborview Senior Living is a caring, compassionate environment for your loved one. The care is top notch and the food is delicious. I especially appreciate the open communication with [name removed] in admissions. She is truly the best!!! Thank you for all you do Harborview!!!

It was a very difficult decision to take our Mom to a senior living facility, but I am so happy that we brought her to Harbour View Senior Living. The staff is absolutely wonderful and the facility is super clean and well run. Thank you so much!!

I wanted to see for myself if the nice photos online were how Harbour View actually looked, and they were! Everything was so clean and the staff was so friendly as [name removed] toured me. She was so knowledgeable and answered all of my many, many questions. 5/5

Everyone was very helpful from our first visit to moving in. All of our questions were responded too quickly thru email or a phone. On our first visit we made an appointment to visit the facility and see the living rooms, dining room and other facilities that were available to use. There are a number of activities available to keep you a little busy. the staff is a big help with just about any question.

Choosing Harbour View Senior Living for my mom was an outstanding decision. Moving a family member into a senior living community can be overwhelming, but the team at Harbor View guided us. From day one, the staff showcased exceptional care and professionalism, particularly Heather, who guided us with patience through every step of the move. They made the transition seamless by walking us through the entire moving process with patience and understanding. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my mom was not only comfortable but also actively engaged in the community. They took the time to set up a personalized schedule of activities that perfectly matched her interests, making her feel welcomed and involved from day one. What truly sets Harbour View apart is the genuine sense of community and care that pervades every interaction. The environment is warm and inviting, fostering a strong sense of belonging and support. We are so grateful for our choice.

I recently had the opportunity to Visit Harbour View while searching for a Suitable place for my mom. Overall, the experience was quite positive. The staff was undoubtedly one of its strongest assets. From the receptionist to the caregivers, everyone is friendly and professional. During my visit I observed staff members engaging with the resident in a compassionate manner which is important to their mental well-being. I would recommend 10 out of 10!!

My father recently moved into the Assisted Living and it has been a breath of fresh air! The admissions director guided us through every step of the way - super responsive and available for my family's questions. The team at Harbour View is empathetic, thoughtful, and kind. I would say that it started out like a dream and turned into a nightmare. We were lied to continually, kept in the dark, and charged for unknown fees with no contract. The floor my mother was put on had only 2 tenants, herself and another guest, and dementia patients would regularly show up at her door in the middle of the night banging on her door. There was no heat or hot water FREQUENTLY, and no one to contact to fix it. The people we signed up with all quit during and before my mother moved in, and the Harbor View changed ownership as she was moving in, so ALL of her paperwork, medical, contracts, etc., were lost. Added to that, all of her mail went missing. The new owners jacked up the rent, eliminated many programs and cut staff. We got my Mother out as quickly as possible. Also, our cars were vandalized while moving her in. A very scary place! Do not trust your loved ones to this insane asylum.

Great option for the budget! My father has met friendly residents. The food is good and substantial.

Hudson Hills provides comprehensive services for patients, and they have shown great flexibility and understanding. They try their best to do a very hard job. They have not always been as communicative as I'd like them to be - and they seem to be experiencing shortages of staff, particularly home health aides and particularly in the evenings.

We chose Hudson Hills because they only had one available room with a shared room in memory care which made it more affordable. Everything was handed very quickly and we were able to move her in very quickly. From my observations, the food seems fine. They do seem to be flexible and accommodating with the menu choices as well. Another important feature is that they have a skilled nursing wing here as well if someone needs that care. I am very satisfied with our experience and I would recommend the community.

I would recommend this community, it was a positive impression. It was a good place. The room size was adequate. There are multiple levels in this community. I am not sure what type of activities are available as my loved did not partake.

My loved love one moved in on [date removed] and the community went on lock down on [date removed]. My loved one wasn't able to visit with any residents; however she raved about the staff. The staff was very helpful to me knowing she was well cared for. My loved one had many complications due to her health. However, the staff was great during this time.
