Commerce Comfort Care is a senior living community in Walled Lake, Michigan. Walled Lake is a western suburb of Metro Detroit, and sits about 20 miles northwest of Detroit. Located just a short distance east of the lake for which the town is named, Commerce Comfort Care has easy access to the beautiful Lakeshore Park, as well as shopping, dining, and medical centers.
Commerce Comfort Care is a luxury assisted living community, with open layouts and modern decor that is both beautiful and functional. The community centers itself around empowering residents to maintain their independence, while still receiving the support that they need. The home features spacious private suites, each with its own bathroom with walk-in shower. Suites have wide doorways to accommodate wheelchairs and cozy bedrooms and lounge areas. Residents can receive an array of personal support services in the privacy of their suites. It was a brand-new facility, so they did not have that many people there yet. It looked really good. They had high ceilings but in the memory care part, the ceilings were lower, and the space was much smaller. The price was much more expensive.
What stood out to me about this facility is it is close to my home and it is newer and price at the time worked. They need more residents. The staff that I see regularly there when I go, are all wonderful! They pay attention to my mom, she is in good care and they all love her- they really like her and wish there were more like her there. They have added an activities director and have more activities now- still a work in progress. They have also hired and have a housekeeper as of this week. Overall the facility is clean from what I see. I would recommend them to family and friends, but they really need more residents.

Facility is great. Clean, open, minimal residents at this time. However, there is very little staff and you will have a hard time reaching anyone by phone to check in on our loved ones and will stand at the door for at least 10 minutes to be let in each time.

The Commerce Court Community is just beautiful it is very pretty on the inside. The staff are quite nice and they do regular check ups on the residents. We like that they take their vitals everything and help make recommendation's. However they could use a better cook for the meals and a beautician that is actually able to do black women's hair. We would recommend the community to other families
Our family had an in person tour and Commerce Comfort Care was absolutely gorgeous we loved it, but it was just a little to far away for the family. We would give it 10 stars if we could
Good community, not the right fit for my loved one.
Its clean, management is friendly, very willing to help. The staff does a good job. There are a lot of freedoms, residents are walking around the building. There are warm weather activities when weather allows. The meals are great but the portions seem to be small.

There seems to be a changing of the staff members and that concerns me some. Although the everyday staff that I have had contact with have been very friendly and helpful. Overall the experience has been pretty good for us.

No cook – if there is one, only two days a week. Little to no activities provided, making it very boring for seniors who are mobile/aware. HORRIBLE management. Trying to run the facility as cheap as they possibly can. Many better options of facilities for the same or lesser cost! Do your homework – Commerce Comfort Care is lacking in so many areas. Don’t trust their sales pitch! Take note of the things below if you do visit Commerce Comfort Care. You will be able to see for yourself! - Check weekend staff - Check weekend cook - Check cleanliness - Check management and length of employment - Check number of residents - why so incredibly low - Check for a routine in work (there isn't one) - Workers always sitting around - No follow-up on problems - Phone not answered on evenings and weekends

I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. They are a brand new community, and still working things out. The food is good and they have gone through a few chefs. The quality of the food is good as well.

My Mom and I stopped by a few days ago and it is beautiful. The rooms are huge and the staff that greeted us answered all of our questions. My Mom really liked it - I think she might move in when they officially open.

I don't think they are open just yet but I did tour during the open house week. WoW is all I can say. What an awesome place and who wouldn't want to live there. The details are unbelievable. I will definitely revisit to show my Mom.

Brand new facility with all the bells and whistles.... Beautiful interior, many rooms have courtyard views that add to the homelike atmosphere. This will definitely be a "GREAT" place for Mom when they open.
