Honestly, I am not happy with the facility and how it's run for the money they charge, but to be fair, the staff is always friendly. They need more staff. They never are there to let people in and they rarely answer the phones. Unprofessional.

Grand Haven Manor 2 has been an excellent fit for our dad. There is a medical team on staff from 8am-8pm. The leasing agent, [name remove], was very helpful and informative during the entire process. The building and grounds are well kept. Maintenance responds in a timely fashion.

This is a great community for senior living. It has tons of amenities for people with limitations including meals prepared daily at a low cost, trips to grocery, exercise room, theater, library, laundry, trash on every level, and more

I came here looking for shelter and the next day my apartment was move in ready! I Love it here! The residents are lovely and I care and appreciate the Senior Residents! This place is lovely! Happy!!

I’m writing this because of other people’s comments about [name removed] at our facility. She is nothing but an angel and someone who gives to everyone to the bone!!! Nothing is “too much “ and nothing is ever “come back later “. She cares for everyone equally and is always giving with her entire heart!!

Mom has been extremely happy at GrandHaven Manor apartments. She loves the friendliness of the residents and the staff! She has a safe environment for her and her dog and a wonderful apartment all together. So far, this has been a perfect move for her. As her family, we feel safe knowing she is happy and in such a wonderful place, as this was very important to us after losing our Dad. Her happiness is our number 1 priority and this place has provided that from the start!

Your mom's happiness and well-being are our top priorities, and we're honored to have her as part of our community.
The office staff was very polite when we walked through the door and sign a lease with our mother. The very next week, they were absolutely rude and acted like we were bothering them when you asked them simple questions. It takes forever for maintenance to come in and fix any past problems that have happened that they have not told us about previously. There is no entertainment and we discovered that the staff has turned over several times with no communication or respect. No entertainment and no social hour. And we found out the health care agency Optimum Peace Home Health has been dismissed from this place in which we heavily relied on. We do not have respect for this company and the way they handle their business. Please, think twice before you sign.

The poorest, poorest, fake advertisement that I have ever seen and heard after experiencing 1 year of my family living here. They have changed management so many times and they never have service when you're apartment needs maintenance. They are rude to my family members and to other residents that live there. They have no entertainment and the residents feel like they are in jail with no comforting words coming from any of the staff. We are going to miss [removed] that was a wonderful company that moved in here a few years ago and was hand in hand helping those needing health care. Bringing on a company that is similar to a ready care. They have no personal door checks or health care that is on a regular basis coming in for visits. This is basically an apartment building with nobody here. You might as well go and pay for an apartment of your own instead of paying this kind of money for nothing.

No home care services. Constant changes without notifications. No entertainment. Treated like lab rats. We miss Optimum Peace Home Healthcare already. They were the best at keeping up and making sure that we were cared for. This company took them away from us. We won't get the care that we need now that this company is leaving. Don't let Associated Management fool you.

We love [removed]. But, Grandhaven Manor Staff is so unprofessional and rude to us and my neighbors in the building. There is no entertainment and no social time that they will put together unless we put it together for ourselves. We spend our hard-working money to be in a place like this and we get treated like we are in a prison. Especially from upper management [name removed] and [name removed] are the worst people to be in charge. They say they are going to make fun games and things to do but they just hide in the office and nothing decent to say. Just a big cover-up.

Everything has been a great experience so far except for the overall value for cost - the rent here is just to high. However the residents here and staff members are all very friendly and kind and I would recommend the Grandhaven Manor to other families looking for a place for their loved ones

Lived there for 4 years. Has changed office staff 4 times. Maintenance staff is willing but nothing has been done to keep the building up. Paint peeling, water pipes burst, loses power. Their bus is being fixed more than it is running. The current manager is unresponsive to requests to speak with her or does nothing about complaints. Their motto seems to be if you can pay the rent, they will rent to you whether you are truly independent or not. They do not always meet whoever will be renting there. As a result, the police are called often. They have had a bed bug problem for over 2 years. The activity person has anger issues and has lashed out at residents, has road rage. Home office knows these issues and does nothing!

We chose Grandhaven Manor because of all of the questions above - we were happy with everything. The apartment sizes are pretty good, we have a 2 bedroom and it is 922 square feet. It is open enough to where we do not feel claustrophobic at all. I would recommend Grandhaven Manor and already have.

I’ve lived here in Grandhaven 3215 almost 2 years. I discovered that I have been completely violated for these 2 years. The staff is going into apartments when no one is home and stealing, rearranging items, I’m pretty sure they have come in to the unit while I was asleep. They have terrorized my kittens to no end. They took my spare keys from the night stand by the head of my bed and have been in my car leaving it unlocked and or the hatch door wide open. I am frightened to death and can’t do anything about it. Don’t move in this place you don’t get help from any Managers.

Grand Haven Manor was exactly what my Dad needed. Elevators so he doesn't have to navigate stairs, clean environment with lots of activities to keep him busy. I know he loves his apartment and I love that I do not have to worry about his safety. Great, caring staff that is very appreciated.

I would tell others to look into if you're looking for a place for your loved one. It's a great place for older people to get to know other people. They do have a lot of activities - they take you to the store, you can play bingo or play pool, etc. They have washers and dryers so you can do your own laundry. It's a great independent place.
