Golden Rose

I rate Golden Rose a 5. I am so grateful that [name removed] recommended this place. The owner, [name removed] , and her manager, [name removed] , are so loving and caring. My loved one had an awful experience in nursing homes. I was determined to find a place that would love and care for my loved one like their own family. I can honestly say everyone from his caregivers to my loved ones hospice team is all amazing. I have to pay out of pocket for my loved ones level 3 care. It has been a struggle but worth every penny knowing my loved one is being cared for.

The staff was very helpful and friendly and they took great care of my father. Based on the experience we have had with the community, we would recommend them to other families.

Golden Rose is an excellent care center and I would recommend it to anyone. I initially chose it because of the price. It was more affordable than most other care centers. I was originally going to keep my dad there until I could afford something else but I left him there until he passed away. It was a great facility and he was well cared for. The hospice company they use is also excellent.

Golden Rose is a no frills facility and it looks a bit outdated. However, it suits my father-in-law perfectly as he's never been a fancy-living individual. The patience that the staff has with his Alzheimer's is exceptional, they put up with his stories and listen to his jokes. He seems very content there.

The Golden Rose provided an excellent place to take care of my father when he had to transition from a Skilled Nursing Facility. The staff and owners are very caring and can be reached 24/7 directly via cell phone. The location was always clean. My father enjoyed the home-cooked meals. My father experienced both a shared room and a single room. Both rooms were nicely sized. The single room provided more room for friends and family to visit. Both rooms were very large and always kept very clean. My father needed quite a bit of attention(due to this multiple health issues) and the staff was always very compassionate and attentive to all of his needs. All I can say is thank you to the staff for taking care of my father during the time he needed the most attention.

This is a great community. They have nice and caring staff. I would recommend Golden Rose to others for their loved ones. The food and activities for the residents are wonderful as well.

Mom feels like she is at home and she feels like she is with family that loves her completely. That makes us feel so happy and comfortable. We're at peace, we know mom is being taken care of by people who genuinely love her.

If any level of care is required and the person is not independent, this is not the place for them. They took care of my loved one, but at the same time, most of their residents were independent, and that's the way they prefer it. They did have decent activities.

Golden Rose was an absolute blessing. We were so lucky to find this loving home for our father. We consider them family now. Our father was there for two years up until his passing this past weekend due to old age. He loved everyone that cared for him and it truly felt like such a blessing that he was there. They were thoughtful about really getting to know and care for our father. They encouraged his health when he didn't want to and genuinely was present for him. Whenever we picked him up whether for a family gathering or a doctor appointment etc he was always ready to get back home to Golden Rose. Truly this was such a blessing. Thank you to the family and team that cared for our father.

Staff is very caring, friendly and attentive. My mom is quite happy at Golden Rose. Great meals, very clean and engaging environment. They are consistently updating and improving the already great services they provide! I am so thankful to my Senior Advisor [name removed] for her caring and guidance throughout the difficult process of finding quality care for my mom! Golden Rose has become my new family!

The visit was great and the managers were nice. I enjoy the encouragement from the staff at Golden. The building was very old and the entrance was not clear. I was let in by [name removed] son who explained why she was not there. The building is very small with little lighting. But did have space for my mother.

Everything is great here so far. I have not had to complain. The community is very clean and my father in law is getting healthy because he likes the food. The only thing that I would improve on would be the activities. They do not have anything for the residents to do. I feel they should be more active.

My mother in law is currently on hospice here at this community. They are providing her with good care. We know she is safe, and in a good place. It has been a very good experience. They have a great staff, and they have been great to work with. This is a community I would recommend. Everything is working out well.

Golden Rose made it very easy to move my mother into her new place. They take care of everything with only a small amount of paperwork. My mother is enjoying her new place so far.

Clean, more active residents, but strong cleaning smell (floors just mopped?) Friendly staff and Bingo just started. Probably a joint room.

More of a nursing home looking facility but personal care appears to be good and residents seem more active and involved. The director runs a good quality facility. Living quarters are more shared rooms.Grade - C
