My mother has dementia and requires a lot of attention, but she is still very functional. We have moved her there a few months ago and we are extremely please with the entire environment. The staff is diligent about getting to know the individual, the situation, the family and doing what ever they can to accommodate any special needs that are required. We are having to make changes here and there, due to her difficulty in adapting to a new environment and her condition changing and the staff have been right on top of things. Spoke to the director, available immediately, 30 day trial option in a furnished apt. As care needs increase, she still stays in same apt., unless wandering becomes an issue.

This is an old structure with mixed assisted and independent folks--small apts and very little to recommend the public space. Cost is including med management--no pre-move in charge--parking could be a problem.

I love it. However, I think mom will need more assistance than they are comfortable with for a newcomer. Mom needs too much care at this point and she's not capable of enjoying the very real amenities any longer.
