My mom and dad moved in a year and half ago, with my dad on hospice. We hoped it would make it easier for my mom to make the transition together. That is exactly how it worked, from the beginning they felt welcomed cared for, loved the music and the pastor's services. As my dad lost mobility, mom got more involved with the daily exercise class and other activities. They felt that their new friends at Fairmount were part of their family. Since dad died, mom has been comforted and cared for by her caregivers. She constantly tells me "thank you for finding this place for us!" All the activities, the music, the chickens hatched from eggs right there, opportunity for walking inside and out of doors in a secure setting are PERFECT for my mom! We are blesses by the caring folks at Fairmount!

Our Mother and Father were residents of Fairmont for the last five years. They lived in Rook House and enjoyed the accommodations and the patio and garden areas, They were very well taken care of and loved and respected. We were very lucky to find Fairmont for them. The staff is great and the atmosphere comforting. I would highly recommend placing a loved one there.

I am a retired nurse having visited many assisted living homes. I come to visit one of the residents at Fairmont on a weekly basis. I am very impressed with the staff and management of Fairmont. They truly care about each resident no matter what their needs are. They have activities are available for the residents to enjoy. The meals are tasty and they have offered my friend different choices if she did want the entre of that day. I highly recommend Fairmont for your loved one knowing they will be well cared and loved. I would like to take this opportunity to commend Fairmount ownership, management and personnel for the kind and loving care provided to a dear friend during his residency over the past 2+ years. Each resident is treated with respect and dignity in this family-like environment. I would heartily encourage those in need of this level of care to consider Fairmount Assisted Living.

They guaranteed us they could handle our uncle. They said they had trained staff to handle people with dementia. Six weeks in he threw dishes and was sent to a psych ward. He has been there 2 weeks and they never checked on him. We paid $11,000 for 6 weeks! They had the nerve to ask us to pay for another month because they need a 30 day notice. They are the ones that sent him to the psych ward! I can't answer about activities because he wasn't there long. The workers were nice but they can only do so much. They have asked for training but cannot get it.
